Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an incense for repose of departed soul capable of moderately suppressing an amount of smoke and perfume formed in burning by incorporating a powder of calcined vermiculite into the powdery incense containing a perfume as a main ingredient. CONSTITUTION:Powder of calcined vermiculite is blended with a perfume such as powder of natural fragrant wood or synthetic perfume powder which is used as a main ingredient at an amount of >=30vol.% based on the powdery incense. Further, as necessary, dried powder of leaf of Japanese star anise, ash of charcoal and activated charcoal, coloring agent, etc., is added thereto and the above-mentioned ingredients are bound using a paste like glue and dried and successively re-powdered to provide the objective product. The calcined vermiculite is obtained by calcining vermiculite e.g. at about 800 deg.C, removing water content as well as swelling air layer in the structure and the product yielded in every countries can be used as the vermiculite. Its chemical composition consists of SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, FeO and CaO, etc.

(Prior Art) As is well known, incense for burning incense is burned at memorial services and the like. There are many types of incense used for burning incense, depending on the type of fragrance that is the main ingredient, but basically it is a powdered form of natural or synthetic fragrance or fragrance. be. Some of these also have colorants added to them.

However, these conventional incense for burning incense only contain incense as a component, so when it is burned, it usually produces a lot of smoke and emits aroma.

More specifically, the amount of smoke and fragrance produced by burning incense per unit time is extremely large. This can be said to be natural, since the main function of incense is to emit its incense or fragrance to the four surroundings.

However, recently there has been a demand to moderate the amount of smoke and fragrance produced when incense is burned. This is because the smoke and scent adhere to the clothes of those participating in the memorial service, and adhere to the walls and tools of the place where the memorial service is held, and the aroma lingers not only at the time and place of the memorial service, but also for a long time afterwards. It is for this purpose.

Depending on the location, there is a growing awareness that it may harm the respiratory systems of people participating in memorial services, and there is a need to moderate the amount of smoke and fragrance produced by burning a single incense stick per unit of time. has arisen.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The above conventional technology is based on the assumption that since activated carbon itself does not produce smoke when burned, it is thought that smoke generation can be suppressed by the amount of activated carbon that is mixed with it. Since activated carbon is mixed in, the amount of fragrance used can be reduced, which is thought to have the advantage of keeping the overall cost low.

As a result of the addition of the inspection δ and ■, it was confirmed that with this conventional technology, ■ the amount of smoke and scent generated still did not meet the requirements of the site where a memorial service is held. The inventors are not clearly aware of this point as to why it is not possible to suppress the generation of smoke and fragrance that meets the requirements even though activated carbon is mixed in.
I think the following can be said. In other words, it is true that activated carbon does not produce smoke when it burns, but it is true that it does burn, so the combustion is transferred to the fragrance ingredients one after another through the activated carbon that is attached to or in contact with the fragrance ingredients. It is thought that because the combustibility of the fragrance component is not adequately suppressed, smoke and fragrance continue to be generated as before.

It has been demanded.

(Purpose) Therefore, the purpose of the present invention is to: 1. To make it possible to more appropriately suppress the amount of smoke and fragrance generated by burning incense per unit time when incense is burned in an incense burning place. . 1) To provide a means for increasing the volume of incense as a whole when a certain amount of incense is mixed in, thereby reducing the amount of incense ingredients.

As a result, it was confirmed that the above-mentioned objects of the present invention can be achieved as described in the following effects due to the characteristics of vermiculite, such as flame retardancy, low specific gravity, and low thermal conductivity. However, by simply firing the vermiculite powder without mixing it, the moisture contained in the vermiculite core is removed, and the air space in the vermiculite structure is further expanded, thereby better achieving the above purpose. This is what I did.

(Function) Based on the above configuration, it has been confirmed that when incense is dropped on incense charcoal and burnt, the amount of smoke and fragrance generated by burning per unit time is moderately suppressed. . The reasons for this are not clearly understood by the unapplicant, but one reason is that this calcined vermiculite is difficult to burn.
Since the thermal conductivity is low, combustion is appropriately blocked at this vermiculite component, and it is thought that the combustion of the fragrance component is moderately suppressed, and the amount of smoke and fragrance generated is suppressed.

In addition, this calcined vermiculite powder has an expanded air layer and a large surface area, which makes it more effective in blocking the combustion of the above-mentioned fragrance ingredients and suppressing the conduction of combustion heat. In this sense, it is considered that the amount of smoke and scent generated can be further suppressed. Furthermore, since this calcined vermiculite powder has a low specific gravity, the volume per constant weight of vermiculite is large, so by mixing a certain amount of vermiculite, the total volume of one incense increases, and #! ! The real effect occurs.

(Example) Next, an example of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 indicates an incense burner, 2 indicates incense charcoal, 3 indicates ash, and 4 indicates the incense of this invention. Specifically, this incense is made by mixing incense powder 5 with calcined vermiculite powder 6. FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of the part indicated by arrow P in FIG. 2 to show this mixed state as a model. As the above-mentioned fragrance materials, various types of fragrance materials such as powders of natural aromatic trees and powders of synthetic fragrances can be considered depending on the purpose and use. All the ingredients of so-called incense sticks and incense sticks can be used. On the other hand, as calcined vermiculite, vermiculite (vermiculite) is calcined to about 800°C,
The vermiculite itself is obtained by removing water and expanding the air space in one tissue, but vermiculite itself can be produced in various places. Its chemical composition is 5i02, Al2O3, Fe
2O3, Fe0CaO, etc. However, in the case of the present invention, there is no need to specify any one of these compositions, and all can be used. By the way, there is no need to specify any method of mixing, but for example, if a method such as mixing paste-like paste with perfume and calcined vermiculite powder, then drying them, and then re-powdering them, good,
Alternatively, a coloring agent may be mixed in. Depending on the purpose, pulverized dry products such as shikimi leaves may also be mixed in. In addition, the amount of smoke and aroma generated may be adjusted. For secondary adjustment, charcoal ash or activated carbon, etc. may be added, and it has been confirmed that it is desirable to mix in a volume ratio of calcined vermiculite powder to 100 parts of YR fragrance. This ratio can be appropriately selected depending on the amount of suppression of smoke generation and the amount of suppression of scent generation. According to such incense, the amount of smoke and scent generated was moderately suppressed. That is, when this incense is dropped into incense charcoal-L, the combustion of the incense per unit time is suppressed due to the combustion suppressing effect of the calcined vermiculite powder and the low conductivity of combustion heat, and the amount of smoke generated is reduced. and the amount of odor generated was moderately suppressed. Furthermore, since the surface area of the fired charcoal/stone powder is large, the above-mentioned combustion suppressing effect is effectively exhibited. Furthermore, since the specific gravity of this calcined vermiculite powder is small, when a certain amount of vermiculite is mixed in, the volume of one incense increases by that amount. Moreover, this vermiculite is inexpensive, so the cost of g# incense can be reduced. .
