Conventionally, generators used for automobiles have been full-wave rectified from an alternating current generator to obtain a direct current output voltage. For this reason, commutation noise of the full-wave rectifier is generated, which has an adverse effect on in-vehicle equipment such as radios. In addition, a noise prevention capacitor was installed between the generator output terminals to prevent the above noise.

In addition, to describe the main part of the embodiment, a noise prevention capacitor is insert molded into an insulating bushing that electrically insulates the generator output terminal and the generator frame, and the generator output terminal and the generator frame are connected to each other. Since the electrodes of the noise prevention capacitor are provided on the end faces that contact the frame, the noise prevention capacitor does not require an increase in the number of parts of the generator and does not require consideration of the mounting space for the noise prevention capacitor.

In the figure, 1 is the frame of the generator, which has a negative potential. A pulley 2 is driven by a belt by an engine or the like (not shown). 3 generates an AC output voltage with a stator winding. A field winding 4 controls the output voltage of the stator winding 3 to a predetermined value by controlling the field current flowing through the winding with a regulator 8. 5 is a full-wave rectifier which converts the alternating current voltage generated in the stator winding 3 into direct current voltage.

Reference numeral 10 denotes the main body of the noise prevention capacitor, which is composed of a film capacitor. 11 and 12 are electrode plates for connection with the outside, electrode 11 is in contact with terminal 6, electrode 12 is in contact with frame 1, respectively, and capacitor 10 is connected between the DC output voltage terminals as shown in FIG. There is. Reference numerals 13 and 14 denote electrodes formed on the end faces of the film capacitor, which are generally called metallicon, and are made by vapor-depositing tin. Here, the electrodes 11 and 12 and the electrodes 13 and 14 can be easily connected by spot welding or the like. The noise prevention capacitor 10 manufactured as described above is formed into an insulating bushing 7 whose outer periphery is covered with resin by insert molding. Further, the insulating member 15 electrically insulates between the frame 1 and the positive side heat sink 5a.
