トの改良に係わるものである。

行なえるようになつている。加熱ゾーン12の加
熱方法は主に輻射加熱方式であり、シート14の
移動が終り、加熱・成形作業が進められている
間、この輻射熱が成形ゾーン13に直接伝わるの
を阻止するために、両工程12,13間に第5図
に示す様な“クランプジヤケツト”15と呼ばれ
る、シート14と接触する上面17が平滑であ
り、冷却手段16を内蔵している、上下一対の遮
熱構造体がシート14を狭んで上下動自在に設け
られている。クランプジヤケツトは温度が低過ぎ
るとその周囲のシートがクランプジヤケツトに熱
を奪われて、加熱ゾーン側では充分な加熱が行な
われず、また成形ゾーン側ではシートの保熱が減
少して、成形時の伸びが悪く、他の部分よりも肉
厚になる。この反面、クランプジヤケツトの温度
が高過きるとシートに余分な熱を与えるためクラ
ンプジヤケツトに近い部分の引張弾性率を小さく
し他の部分より薄肉になる。またシートは温度に
より収縮が異なるため低いと成形品が凹形に反
り、高いと凸形に反り易い。このように真空成形
においては成形不良品の発生防止のためにクラン
プジヤケツトが重要な役割を果している。その機
能を充分に生かすために従来のクランプジヤケツ
トではその構造上シートの送り方向についての巾
l(以下この巾を“シート送り巾”と称する)を
20mm以上取ることが必要とされていた。しかし、
連続真空成形において加熱、成形作業が進められ
ている間、上記のクランプジヤケツトに狭まれて
いるシート送り巾に相当するシート部分はいずれ
の作業にも関与しないから、ロスになつて製品の
歩留りを低下させる。これは成形ゾーンの長さが
900mmの真空成形機では全シートの2.2%に相当
し、工程管理上無視できない値になつていた。

2図に示す様に、比較的小鋸歯状のもの(a)、粗い

宜組合せた形状のもの等、クランプジヤケツトの
シート把握時にシートに著しい損傷を与えない限

合せたときの様に、各平板間に僅かな〓間を生ず
る様にしても良い。
