【考案の詳細な説明】 (1) 考案の目的 本案は折り曲げベツド用スプリング構造体の改
良に関する。

従来の該スプリング構造体は鼓形スプリングを
連結する一定の個所のヘリカル線に沿つてのみ折
り曲げができ任意の他の個所のヘリカル線に沿つ
て折り曲げができない不便があつた。これ故に本
案の第一の目的はこの点を改良しベツドフレーム
のどの部分の折り曲げにも対応できる折り曲げ自
在なスプリング構造体を提供するにある。然しな
がら上記の目的が達成されたとしてもその製作費
が高騰するならば一般の使用に供することはむず
かしい。故に本案の第二の目的は該スプリング構
造体を低廉に製作し一般用に供するにある。

(2) 考案の構成 スプリング構造体は鼓形スプリングを適当数長

定の間隔を置いて並列し、横方向のヘリカル線に
よつてスプリング同志の接触部分を連結すると同
時に各スプリング列を連結する工程を経る。この
段階に於てはスプリング配列はどの個所のヘリカ
ル線に沿つてでも折り曲げが可能である。然しス
プリング構造体はそのスプリング配列の上面と下
面の周囲にそれぞれ鋼線の枠線を囲らしてこの接
触部分をクリツプ止したものであるから、このス
プリング構造体は幾分撓めることはできるがこれ
を折り曲げることはできない。若しこれを強いて
折り曲げると鋼線の枠線は折り曲げられるが屈折
力が取り除かれても該枠線は折り曲つたままで原
形に復元しない。従つて今迄の折り曲げベツド用
スプリング構造体は側面の枠線の部分に工夫が凝
らされ、その一例として枠線の折り曲げしたい部
分を切断してその部分を円環にて連絡して、折り
曲げができるように作られた。このようなスプリ
ング構造体は折り曲げ線が特定のヘリカル線に決
められ普通は一個所に作られる。然し複数の個所
に折り曲げ線を作ることはその構成が複雑になり
製作費が高騰する欠点がある。それ故に考案者は
枠線が鋼線で作られると云う固定観念を捨てて鋼
線以外の物質で屈折率が大きく復元力も大きいも
のを探求してプラスチツク特に軟質ポリエチレン
の帯状または丸棒状のものがこの条件に適応する
ことを発見した。

字形の空間部7の幅を2.5mm、その厚みを3.0mmと
し、プラスチツク枠線4の幅を10mmとする。プラ
スチツク枠線4は90mm毎に屈折部6の中心があ
り、その20mmの間の二重の帯の部分の厚みを1mm
宛薄くして2mm宛にする。プラスチツク枠線は長
さ1275〜1285mmに作られる。鋼線の枠線3とプラ
スチツク枠線4を連結するために該枠線3の端を

ツドフレームがどの部分で折り曲げられてもそれ
に応じて本案の構造体はその部分で折り曲がり該
ベツドフレームが平らに戻るとまたそれに応じて
平らに復元する。

して有用な折り曲げ自在なベツド用スプリング構
造体を提供することができる。
