Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a user from feeling cold even though the hot-water is not raised up to an unnecessarily high temperature in winter season with a rather simple constitution by furnishing a carbon dioxide generating device and a dissolving device, by which carbon dioxide gas is dissolved into water, in a shower head. CONSTITUTION:A shower head 1 has a closed type egg-plant-like shape with a cavity inside, and is attached to the downstream end of a hot-water supply pipe 13. One side face of the head should be a shower face 7 with many small- bore holes. An attachment 3 and a spiral shape thin constricted pipe 4 are mounted inside the shower head, and one end of constricted pipe 4 is connected to the attachment 3 and the other is opened. A miniature carbon dioxide cylinder 2 is mounted on the attachment 3, and a lid 5 is provided on the top of the shower head 1 to replace the carbon dioxide cylinder 2. The carbon dioxide gas spouting from the cylinder 2 is discharged from the open end of the constricted pipe 4 through the attachment 3, brought into contact with hot-water coming from the hot-water supply pipe 13, dissolved into the hot-water, and spouted from a shower face 7 together with the hot-water as carbonated shower 6.

One possible way to solve this problem is to increase the temperature of the hot water sprayed from the shower head, but raising the temperature of the hot water more than necessary can cause discomfort.
On the other hand, it is possible to raise the room temperature in the bathroom, but this method has the problem that it is necessary to heat the air in the entire bathroom and requires a fairly large-scale device.
