小、後端側が径大に形成された軸孔を有する筒状
絶縁体と、 該軸孔内の先端側に嵌め込まれ、先端が絶縁体
の先端面から突出されると共に、該突出部が鍔状
に径大化されて絶縁体の先端面に当接されている
軸状の中心電極と、 前記軸孔内の後端側に嵌め込まれ、後端が絶縁
体の後端面から突出されると共に、該突出部が端
子となつている中軸とからなる鍔付中心電極を有
するスパークプラグにおいて、 鍔付中心電極には、前記軸孔の後端側に突出す
る後端部または絶縁体の軸孔との嵌合面に雄ネジ
が形成され、その雄ネジに対応する雌ネジを、絶
縁体軸孔の後端側に嵌合する円筒状止具、前記中
軸の先端部はあるいは絶縁体軸孔の先端側に形成
し、雄ネジと雌ネジを螺着することによつて鍔付
中心電極を絶縁体に固定してなることを特徴とす
