Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はエアジエツトを利用した改良されたシ
ート振り分け装置に関する。特に本発明は、アル
ミニウム板、PS版等の金属シートのような板状
体で表面に傷がつき易いシート状物を高速で振り
分けるに適した装置に関する。

属板のように剛性があるものではシートを押し付
ける力が弱く振分けが困難であつたり、多数のノ
ズルからかなり強力な力で空気を噴出させなけれ
ばならない等があり、ベルトコンベアを可動させ
る方式にあつては、可動部の重量が重くなり、可
動時間がかかり、シートを高速で振り分けるには
適さない等の欠点があり、またゲートを切替える
方式では、ゲート通過時にシートの表面に傷が付
いたり、金属板のように剛性のあるものではゲー
トの切替によつて急激に方向を変えることが難し
く、さらに後段のベルトコンベアはベルトの張力
や強度面によつてコンベアロールの径が制約され
る。このために前段(下方側搬送用)と後段(上
方側搬送用)ベルトコンベアの間隔が広くなり、
切断長の短いシートの場合、振り分けが有効に行
われなかつたり、ゲート通過時にシートが蛇行す
る等の欠点があつた。

すなわち、本発明は、搬入ベルトコンベアによ
つて搬送されるシートを、該搬入ベルトコンベア
出口付近に位置するエアジエツト機構によつて、
該エアジエツト機構の後方と下方に位置する搬出
ベルトコンベアに夫々上下に振り分けて送るシー
ト振り分け装置において、該エアジエツト機構と
して、上下板面に多数の圧縮空気吹出孔を有する
ゲートフラツプを設け、その先端部を上下に切替
えることによつて上記搬入ベルトコンベアからの
シートを上下に振り分け上記搬出ベルトコンベア
に送るようになし前記後方に位置する搬出ベルト
コンベアは前記ゲートフラツプの上方に位置する
案内ローラによつて移動するベルトと共働してシ
ートを搬送するように構成され、該ベルトを挟ん
で、且つ該ゲートフラツプの後端直後にニツプロ
ーラを配置し、該ニツプローラの上部ニツプロー
ラの中心を下部ニツプローラの中心よりシート進
行方向側に位置させ切断長の短いシートでも搬入
ベルトコンベアからの搬送力が無くなる前に該ニ
ツプローラで支え搬送できるようにしたことを特
徴とする剛性シート振り分け装置である。

ように夫々2条のエンドレスベルトからなつてい

の上方に位置する案内ローラ6によつて移動する
ベルトT5と共働してシートを搬送するように構
成されている。ベルトT5はこの例では第2図に
示すように2条の細幅のエンドレスベルトが用い

本発明の第1の特徴であるゲートフラツプ3は

ダ10の先端部を係合し、エアシリンダ10を上
下することにより枢軸11を中心にゲートフラツ
プ先端部を動かし、その位置を切替え得るように
なつている。なお第2図ではエアシリンダは省略
されている。

記の如き問題を起こすことなくシートを振り分け
て送ることができる。

うな構成は、特にアルミニウムシート上に感光層
等の傷つき易い表面を有するシートに対して有効
である。

分け上記搬出ベルトコンベアに送るようになし、
前記後方に位置する搬出ベルトコンベアは前記ゲ
ートフラツプの上方に位置する案内ローラによつ
て移動するベルトと共働してシートを搬送するよ
うに構成され、該ベルトを挟んで該ゲートフラツ
プの後端直後にニツプローラを配置し、該ニツプ
ローラの上部ニツプローラの中心を下部ニツプロ
ーラの中心よりシート進行方向側に位置させ、切
断長の短いシートでも搬入ベルトコンベアからの
搬送力の無くなる前に該ニツプローラで支え搬送
できるようにしたことを特徴とする剛性シート振
