Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation, and prevent the leakage, and improve the profitability by mounting sealing materials in connecting parts of both corrugated pipes, and fitting projecting guides and stoppers in valley parts to be fixed, and pressure-weld-covering tube ends abutting to each other with a coupler. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 5 covered with the water expansibility rubber and having a sectional area as same as a valley part 2 and a length as same as a joint part is formed in one end of a long size band plate 3. Next, the band plate 3 is formed in a ring large enough to surround over a mountain part 1 by jointing one side of one end of the band plate 3 and the other side of the other end so that a projecting guide 4 and the stopper 5 are positioned inside of the ring. Beads 6 made of the water expansibility rubber and having the semicircle sectional area are formed in both ends of the band plate 3 so that the both ends of the band plate 3 are thicker than the middle part. Next, a plate material 7 made of metal or synthetic resin and having a smooth surface is bent to form a coupler C for pressure-weld-covering over a connected part of both corrugated pipes A mounting sealing materials and connected to be adjacent. Fixing flanges 9 having fixing holes 8 are formed in both ends of the coupler to be fastened with fixtures 10 to be fixed.

(Prior art) Conventionally, this type of corrugated pipe connection structure that requires watertightness has been constructed by using a backing material or filling a caulking material on the connecting portion of both corrugated pipes that are joined to be connected. Generally, the surface of the coupler is pressure-covered with a relatively thick corrugated metal coupler.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, due to the molding process of corrugated pipes made of synthetic resin, there are variations in the waveform, which creates a gap between the corrugated metal coupler and the backing that intervenes in this gap. It is extremely difficult to completely block the corrugated pipe with wood or caulking material, and it is also extremely disadvantageous from an economic standpoint, as it requires a relatively thick corrugated pipe and costs approximately the same as the cost of the corrugated pipe itself.

The present invention was developed as a result of intensive research to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional products described above, and is made of an elastic material such as natural rubber at the connecting part of a corrugated pipe that has spiral irregularities on the peripheral wall. A protrusion guide along the longitudinal direction that fits into the trough is formed on one side of the strip plate having a length that can straddle adjacent ridges and shield the top of the trough, and at least one end is separated from the trough. A long strip plate formed with a stopper of a predetermined length that narrows the area is placed on one side of one end and on the other side of the other end so that the protrusion guide and stopper are located on the inner surface. Attach a ring-shaped sealing material that goes around the mountain part, and then bend a plate with a smooth surface over the connecting part of both corrugated pipes. Since the corrugated pipe connection structure of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, during construction, a ring-shaped sealing material is fitted from the end to the connecting part of both corrugated pipes to be connected, and then a protrusion is inserted into the trough. The guide and stopper are inserted and fixed, then the ends of both corrugated pipes are brought into contact and a sealing material is applied, and the joint is covered with a coupler, and this is tightened with a fixture to secure the mountain. Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the corrugated pipe connection structure of the present invention, by pressing and deforming the bead on the side of the sealing material and the stopper located in the valley. Figure 2 is a partially enlarged sectional view of the same as above;
Figures 3 and 4 are perspective views of the sealing material and coupler, which are the members of the above.
B is a corrugated pipe formed with a spiral unevenness consisting of ridges 2 and 2, and B is a sealing material made of an elastic material such as natural rubber, with a width that straddles adjacent peaks l. The joint portion, which will be described later, has a length equal to the width of one pitch and the length of the path of the corrugated pipe A formed with spiral unevenness so as to be able to shield the top of the trough 2 from the length of one circumference of the ridge 1. On one side of the elongated strip plate 3, which is formed to be longer than the length, two protruding guides 4 are provided along the longitudinal direction so as to abut on both sides of the trough 2. Water is formed so that approximately half the length remains, and at one end of the long strip plate 3, the trough 2 and the cross-sectional area are reduced to reduce the joint portion and length. A stopper 5 coated with swellable rubber is formed, and this elongated strip 3 is attached to one side of one end of the elongated strip 3 so that the protrusion, strip guide 4 and stopper 5 are located on the inner surface. The other end is joined to the other side to form a ring shape having a size that goes around the peak l, and both sides of the long strip 3 are connected to the other side of the long strip 3. A bead 6 made of water-swellable rubber and having a circular cross section is formed so as to be thicker than the middle part of C.
is a coupler which presses and covers the connecting portion of both corrugated pipes A which are connected to each other by attaching a sealing material B, and is a plate member 7 with a smooth surface made of metal or synthetic resin.
A fixing flange 9 is formed by bending and having fixing holes 8 at both ends thereof, and a fixing tool 1 consisting of a bolt and a nut is formed.
It is fixed by tightening at 0.

[Effects of the Invention] As is clear from the above, the corrugated pipe connection structure of the present invention is made by bending a long strip plate in advance along a spiral unevenness to form a ring shape that is large enough to go around the peak. In order to use a sealed sealant, it is attached by fitting it from the end of the corrugated pipe that is to be connected, and this is fixed in place by fitting a protrusion guide along the valley. The installation work of sealing material to corrugated pipes has been significantly improved, and it has been possible to straddle adjacent peaks on both sides of a long strip made of elastic material to shield and shield the tops of valleys. By blocking the trough with a stopper of a predetermined length that makes the cross-sectional area between the trough and the trough, the upper part thereof is pressure-welded with a coupler formed by bending a plate with a smooth surface. Rainwater that flows out of the pipe from the abutting part of the corrugated pipe to be joined and flows out between the corrugated pipe and the coupler is a long pipe located on the peak compressed by the coupler. Water leakage is prevented because it is blocked by stoppers located on both sides of the strip and in the troughs, and furthermore, both sides of the long strip located on the peaks of the corrugated pipe are thick-walled or have a thick cross-section. The water-swelling property is further promoted by forming the round shape, both sides of the long strip plate, and the surface of the stopper with water-swellable rubber. The economical efficiency is further improved compared to conventional products by using a long band plate with a stopper of a predetermined length formed on a ring-shaped object of a certain size, and by using a plate with a smooth surface as a coupler. It is.
