この考案は光透過性の容器内に水耕栽培用の人
工土壌に適した透明性の水膨潤架橋重合体よりな
る粒状物を入れて人工土壌を形成し、これに観賞
植物を植え付けてライトを当て、粒状物に当る光
の反射により観賞効果を昂めた主として室内で使
用されるグリーンインテリアに関する。グリーン
インテリアの一種として従来よりよく利用されて
いるものに鉢植え植物などの観賞用植物があり、
この観賞用植物には住宅や各種店舗の玄関やフロ
ア等に設置される比較的大きなものからテーブル
上に載せられるような比較的小さなもの更には喫
茶店、レストラン、食堂等の店舗において客席の
廻りに設置される花壇などがあり、最近ではこれ
ら観賞用植物の観賞効果を一層昂めるために鉢に
装飾的なものを使つたり、鉢、ポツト、ガラス
壜、ワイングラス等の透明な容器内に小石、砂
利、ガラス片、ガラスビーズ、プラスチツク片等
を詰めて人工土壌を形成したものなどが種々見受
けられるようになつてきた。こうしたもので人工
土壌を形成したものは装飾効果という点ではある
程度の効果があるが、ガラス片やガラスビーズな
ど、あまりに透明であるものは根が見えすぎて美
感上好ましくなく、また上記のような人工土壌は
一般に保水性が充分でないため植物の生育上好ま

酸(塩)成分単位、架橋性単量体成分単位から
なる水膨潤性ゲル状架橋重合体から得られる透
明性水膨潤架橋重合体の粒状水膨潤物よりなる
人工土壌を形成し、これに草花、植木、観葉植
物等の観賞植物を植え、かつ上記取付台の内部
に設けた照明器具によりライトを当てるように
