Abstract

PURPOSE:To contract the floor occupying space of the whole equipment by placing directly parts, shelves stored with assembly parts on each work transfer truck of an automobile assembly line and, transferring the parts shelves and work pieces together by a work transfer truck. A part shelf 16 loaded with parts is transferred to the shelf unloading route part 14 of the upper part of the start end part of the line 1 by traveling the electric car 11 along the guide rail 10. The parts shelf 16 is then removed from the hanger 12 for the shelf suspension and placed on the shelf placing part 4 located on the work transfer truck 2 just under. 車で一緒に搬送するようにした自動車等組立ラインへの
部品供給システムを提案するものである。

通る部品積み込み経路部13と、前記自動車組立ライン
1上の各ワーク搬送台車2に於ける棚載置部4の真上を
通る棚降ろし経路部14及び空欄積み込み経路部15が
設けられている。16は前記各ワーク搬送台車2の棚載
置部4上に載置することの出来る部品棚であって、前記
電車11の標品下用ハンガー12で吊り下げることが出
来る。

(発明の作用及び効果) 以上のように本発明の自動車等組立ラインへの部品供給
システムによれば、組立ラインを移動する各ワーク搬送
台車上に、組み付け部品を収納した部品棚を直接載1し
、当該部品棚とワークとを前記ワーク搬送台車で一緒に
搬送するのであるから、部品棚をワーク搬送台車と同一
速度で並列状に搬送する部品棚専用搬送手段が不要とな
り、設備コストの大幅な低減が可能である。又、従来の
ワーク搬送台車よりも棚載置部の分だけ巾広のワーク搬
送台車を使用するだけで良いので、ワーク搬送台車の走
行経路に隣接させて部品棚専用搬送手段を並設しなけれ
ばならない場合よりも、設備全体の床占有スペースも縮
小され、床面利用効率を高めることが出来る。更に、ワ
ーク搬送台車上に部品棚が直接載置されるので、部品載
置位置とワーク(自動車ボディ等)との間の距離も短く
なり、部品組み付け作業を能率良く行うことが出来る。
