Abstract

PURPOSE:To restore the balance of mind and body and to draw out potentiality by grasping an earlobe by electrodes from the inside and outside thereof by the attracting actions of magnets to electrically and mechanically fix said electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Magnets of 1,300 gauss are arranged in electrode parts 2 supporting electrodes 1 and a connection cord 3 is connected to the electrode parts to be finally connected to the main body of a bio-feedback apparatus. As a result, the electrode parts can be mechanically and electrically fixed to an earlobe so as to hold the same therebetween by the actions of the magnets mounted in the electrode parts 2 and not only function merely monitoring a brain wave but also function relieving the stiffness of the shoulders and asthenopia are developed and the balance of main and body can be restored and potentiality can be drawn out.

[Operation] The biofeedback device configured as described above has the following effects:
Due to the action of the magnet contained in the electrode part fixed to the earlobe, the fist not only has the function of monitoring brain waves, but also has the function of relieving stiff shoulders and eye strain, and as a result, easing irritation and mental fatigue. Therefore, compared to conventional biofeedback devices, it is more effective in restoring mental and physical balance and bringing out latent abilities.

The data in Table 1 are average values obtained from 10 experiments. As can be seen from Table 1, compared to conventional biofeedback devices, the biofeedback device of the present invention produces more α-waves (which are emitted when the balance of mind and body is restored), and is effective for biofeedback training. The effect was great.
