ぞれ固設され、シリンダヘツドに固定的に支持さ
れたロツカシヤフトには、前記カムの回転に応動
するロツカアームが各シリンダの機関弁に対応し
て複数ずつ支承され、それらのロツカアームには
、機関弁の開閉作動態様を変化させるべく、相互
の連結および連結解除を油圧に応じて切換可能な
油圧式連結切換機構が設けられ、各油圧式連結切
換機構を共通に連通させる給油路がロツカシヤフ
ト内に同軸に穿設される多気筒内燃機関用動弁装
置において、各シリンダの配列方向に沿うほぼ中
央部のカムホルダには、油圧供給源に連通する油
圧供給路と、軸方向に沿う前記給油路のほぼ中央
部に連通する給油口とがカムホルダ上面に開口し
て設けられ、該カムホルダ上面には、前記油圧供
給路および給油口間の連通、遮断を切換可能な切
換弁が取付けられることを特徴とする多気筒内燃
機関用動弁装置。
