［産業上の利用分野］
本発明は、ファクシミリ装置に関する．［従来の技術］
従来のファクシミリ装置では、送信中に受信側でエラー
が発生した場合、送信側で警報音等を発し、送信者にエ
ラーが生じた旨を知らせる、ようになっている．
［発明が解決しようとする課題］
しかしながら、従来のファクシミリ装置では、エラーし
た原稿のページを送信者に知らせることはできなかった
．したがって、特に送信者と受信者との間で電話による
連絡が行えない場合に、送信者がエラー後に原稿を送信
する際、初めから送らなければならないという不都合が
生じていた．
本発明は、ファクシミリ送信中に受信側でエラーが生じ
た場合、原稿の何ページ目にエラーが生じたかを送信側
で知ることができるファクシミリ装置を提供することを
目的とする．
［課題を解決する手段］
本発明は、受信中にエラーが生じた場合、受信原稿の何
ページ目にエラーが生じたかを識別する識別手段と、識
別手段の識別結果によってエラーしたページを示す音声
メッセージを発生する音声発生手段と，送信側の電話機
に送信者を呼出し、上記音声発生手段から発生された音
声メッセージを伝える通知制御手段とを有することを特
徴とする．
［作用］
本発明では、ファクシミリ装置が受信途中でエラーとな
ったとき、たとえば電話予約によって送信側の電話機に
送信者を呼出し、エラーになったページを音声メッセー
ジによって通知する．また、電話予約が使えない場合に
は、送信側に電話をかけ直し、音声メッセージによって
エラーしたページを送信者に通知する．
［実施例］
第１図は、本発明の一実施例を示すブロック図である．
このファクシミリ装置ｌは、装置全体を制御するＣＰＵ
１２と、このＣＰＵ１２の制御プログラム等を格納した
ＲＯＭ１３と、ＣＰＵ１２のワークエリアとして使用さ
れるＲＡＭ１４とを有している．
また、ファクシミリ装置ｌには、電話回線を接続するモ
ジュラコネクタ２と、電話回路３と、相手と通話を行う
受話器４と、呼出音を発生させるリンガ５と、電話とフ
ァクシミリを切換えるリレー６と、パルスダイヤルを発
生させるリレー７と，増幅器であるオペアンプ８と、ト
ランス９と、送受信信号の変復調を行うモデム１０と、
音声メッセージを発する音声合成回路１１と、電話回線
と電話回路３とを断続するフックスイッチ１５等が設け
られている．
第２図は、以上のようなファクシミリ装置ｌにおける受
信動作を説明するフローチャートである．
まず、ファクシミリの着信があると（Ｓ１）、ＣＰＵ１
２が着信を検知してリレー６をモデム１０側に切り換え
、リレー７を閉じて、回線を接続し、ファクシミリ受信
を開始する（Ｓ２）．そして、エラーがなければ（Ｓ３
）．通常通り終了する（Ｓ ｌ ２） ．
また、ｌラインのビット数が合わなくて、何本かのライ
ンが欠落してエラーとなるときには（Ｓ３’）．そのペ
ージの終わりで電話予約を行う（Ｓ４），そして、相手
（送信側）が受話器をとったことを確認してから（ＳＳ
）．音声合成回路１１により、「ただいま、送って頂き
ましたファクシミリは２枚目でエラーしました．」と言
うように、エラーしたページを相手に自動的に知らせ（
Ｓ ｌ ｌ） ．電話を切る（１２）．また、Ｓ５にお
いて、相手が一定時間経過しても受話器をとらなかった
ときは（３６）．エラー終了（Ｓ７）によって一度回線
を切り（Ｓ８）、一定時間経過後（Ｓ９）．エラーとな
ったファクシミリの情報の中に相手の電話番号が登録さ
れていればそこに電話をかける（Ｓ ｔ Ｏ） ．そし
て、相手よりファクシミリの応答音があれば，ファクシ
ミリを使って「こちらはΔΔ株式会社ですが、ただいま
送って頂きましたファクシミリは２枚目でエラーとなり
ました．」と言う文章メッセージを送る．また、もしフ
ァクシミリの応答音．がなければ、音声合成回路１ｌに
より上記と同じ文章を音声メッセージで相手に伝える（
Ｓ １ １） ，また．Ｓ３”において他のエラーで電
話予約ができないときは、一度回線を切り（３８）．Ｓ
９以降の手順で相手のエラーのページを知らせる．
なお、上記実施例では、３１１において、ファクシミリ
による文章送信と電話での音声による通知とを併用した
が、電話だけで通知するようにしてもよい．
［発明の効果］
本発明によれば、送信原稿の何枚目でエラーとなったか
を送信側でわかるため、送信側でエラーしたページから
送信し直すことができ、同一ページを再送する無駄を解
消できるという効果がある．また、受信側に人がいなく
