Spinning bobbins produced by spinning machines, especially ring spinning machines, are unwound in an automatic winder, which is a rewinding process, and are rewound into a certain amount of package cages. There are empty bobbins with no yarn layer at all, half-bobbins that leave a large amount of yarn layer and can be re-supplied to the winder, and even bobbins with very little yarn left that can be re-supplied to the winder. These various bobbins are randomly discharged and sorted for each bobbin and stored in a box, or half-bobbins are automatically conveyed to a pick-out device, and empty bobbins are separated into only those with very little thread remaining and placed in a box. The box containing the empty bobbin is transported to a spinning machine, and the box containing the bobbin with very little remaining thread is transported to a worker's residual thread removal workshop, where the worker removes the empty bobbin from which the remaining thread has been removed. The process involves transporting the finished product to the spinning machine again.

On the other hand, in a spinning winder that is suitable for high-mix, low-volume production and in which a spinning frame and a winder are connected via a bobbin conveyance path, there is no problem as long as a certain number of bobbins circulate between the spinning frame and the winder, but as mentioned above, there is a very small amount of bobbins remaining. If only the bobbin with thread is removed and repaired, the number of bobbins circulating will gradually decrease.
A station for newly supplying empty bobbins is required, a device for extracting a bobbin with a very small amount of yarn remaining, and an empty bobbin supply device are required, and a plurality of conveying devices are required.

Further, other examples of the spinning winder are shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. That is, the conveyance path 19 surrounding the spinning frame 1 is continuous with the bobbin conveyance path 20 and the empty bobbin conveyance path 21 on the winder 4 side, and the winder 4 has a large number of winding units 15a to 15a as in the previous embodiment.
15n are arranged in parallel, and the empty bobbin discharged from the winder 4 is transferred on the conveyance path 21 while being inserted in the tray 22, and is transferred on the conveyance path 19 on the spinning machine 1 side in the direction of the arrow 23. . In this case, the size of the tray is a disc-shaped base with a diameter equal to the spindle pitch of the spinning machine, or if you use a tray that is half the size of the spindle pitch, it is possible to align the trays along the spinning machine. , simultaneous doffing operation using a doffing device is possible. The bobbin doffed by the spinning frame 1 is fed continuously or intermittently in the direction of the arrow 24, and then passes through the bobbin conveyance path 25 through the feed device 6.
The bobbin, which is ready for thread tying, is inserted into the tray and transferred to the winder 4. In the above-mentioned unwinding device 6, the tail yarn wound around the tail of the spinning bobbin is unwound, and the yarn end of a certain length is inserted into the core tube from the upper end of the bobbin and hangs down, and when rewinding, the yarn end that is hung down is unwound. is blown up, suctioned and held in a relay pipe, and guided to a thread tying device.

In addition, in this embodiment, not all trays with bobbins inserted therein are transported on the bobbin transport path 25, but trays lined up at the end of the spinning machine 1, that is, at positions surrounding the gear box 28 or the control box. Since the upper empty bobbin is not replaced with a spinning bobbin, the empty bobbin at that position is transferred to the conveyance path 2.
5, and when it reaches the branching path 26, a sensor that detects the presence or absence of a yarn layer determines that it is an empty bobbin, and it is sorted and transferred to the branching path 26 by an opening/closing gate driven by a rotary solenoid (not shown). The empty bobbin is transferred onto the empty bobbin conveyance path 27 again by bypass. In this way, only the tray with the bobbin inserted therein is supplied to the pick-up device 6, and the pick-out operation is performed. Reference numeral 29 denotes a branching path for transporting the bobbin which has been picked out incorrectly to the picking device 6 again, where the bobbin is placed on the conveying path 31 from the branching path 30 via the bypass 10, and the bobbin is picked out again.

Here, the outer periphery of the bobbin B normally has a slightly tapered surface, but due to the closing displacement of the opening/closing members 38 and 39 during the lowering process of the lifting rod 34, the remaining thread removal piece 40, 41, 42
follows and contacts the tapered surface of the bobbin B faithfully. The remaining threads Y remaining on the remaining thread removing pieces 40, 41, 42 are removed by suction by a suction means such as a suction pipe, and at the same time, the tray 22 in which the empty bobbin B is inserted is released from its stop. It is transferred to the next process by a conveyor 33.

The remaining thread removing device ST1 removes the remaining thread during the movement when the bobbin B is once removed from the tray 22 and then reinserted into the tray. Of course, it is also possible to apply a device that removes the remaining yarn while standing, and in this case, a pressing member that presses the upper end of the bobbin is provided in place of the bobbin chuck 35 in the device ST1 of the embodiment, and a pair of opening/closing members 38 and 39 are provided. With the bobbin placed on the tray, the pressing member presses the bobbin head, and the removal pieces 40, 41, 42 of the opening/closing members 38, 39 descend to the lower part of the thread layer of the bobbin. Next, by closing the opening/closing members 38, 39 and raising the members 38, 39, it is possible to scrape off the remaining yarn. That is,
By reversing the movements of the bobbin and the removal pieces 40, 41, 42, the remaining yarn can be removed while the bobbin is placed on the tray. In this case, the bobbin guides 62 and 63 shown in FIG. 5 are unnecessary.

As described above, in the present invention, among the bobbins discharged from the winder, bobbins with residual yarn that cannot be re-supplied to the winder are replaced with empty bobbins from which residual yarn has been removed by the residual yarn removing device installed in the conveyance path. Since the bobbin is conveyed with the remaining thread, there is no need for the operator to make any adjustments. In addition, in a system that connects the winder and the spinning machine, the bobbin with residual yarn can be conveyed without taking it out from the conveyance path. Since the remaining yarn on the bobbin is removed by relative movement in the bobbin axial direction, the conveyance system can be made more compact, and there is no excess or shortage of empty bobbins, making quantity control easier.
