方法に係り、特にフレームとスプリングの組立方

一般に内張りタイプのシヤドウマスクの組立
は、フレームの外側にスプリングをスポツト抵抗
溶接により固定した後、整形マスクのスカートを
フレームの内側に組込み、スポツト抵抗溶接によ
りマスクとフレームを固定してなる。通常、マス
クはフレームに対して寸法的にできるだけガタの
少ない密着した設計となつている。従つて、フレ
ーム内側にスプラツシユ(バリ)、圧痕などがあ
ると、マスクを挿入する際の障壁となり、強制的
に挿入しようとするとマスクの変形不良を発生す
る。

以下、本発明の一実施例を図により説明する。
まず、フレーム1にスプリング2を溶接するに際
し、外側溶接電極3の電極材としてクロム銅、内
側溶接電極4の電極材としてタングステン銀化合
物を使用する。また電極先端部分の面積は、内側
溶接電極4が外側溶接電極3より大きくなつてお
り、本実施例ではその比を3.0にしてある。

溶接電極3に対応する部分での凹み発生を防ぐこ
とができる。また内側および外側を同一加圧で実
施した場合においても、内側溶接電極4の接触面
積が大きいので、フレーム1に対する単位面積当
りの圧力は小さく、フレーム1の内側面における
電極の圧痕は小さくなる。このため、次の工程で
フレーム1に整形マスク5を容易に挿入すること
ができる。

ば、フレームにスプリングを溶接する時にフレー
ムの内面におけるスプラツシユの発生と圧痕量を
低減できるため、次工程のマスクとフレームの溶
接に先立つマスクとフレームの換合作業が容易と
なり、不良低減と作業のスピード向上が図れる。

【特許請求の範囲】 1 フレームの外側にスプリングをスポツト抵抗
溶接により固定した後、整形マスクのスカートを
フレームの内側に組込み、スポツト抵抗溶接によ
りマスクとフレームを固定してなる内張りシヤド
ウマスクの組立方法において、前記フレームとス
プリングの溶接時にフレーム側の内側溶接電極の
先端面積をスプリング側の外側溶接電極の先端面
積より大きくして溶接固定を行なうことを特徴と
する内張りシヤドウマスクの組立方法。 2 フレームの外側にスプリングをスポツト抵抗
溶接により固定した後、整形マスクのスカートを
フレームの内側に組込み、スポツト溶接によりマ
スクとフレームを固定してなる内張りシヤドウマ
スクの組立方法において、前記フレームとスプリ
ングの溶接時にフレーム側の内側溶接電極の先端
面積および材質硬度をスプリング側の外側溶接電
極の先端面積および材質硬度よりそれぞれ大きく
して溶接固定を行なうことを特徴とする内張りシ
ヤドウマスクの組立方法。
