Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture inexpensively a vessel having an arbitrary shape such as an animal or a plant, by a method wherein a bottom plate having an arbitrary outer circumferential shape is formed by making use of a material capable of performing hot press holding, an annular beltlike member is formed by making use of a material capable of performing elastic deformation, which is deformed elastically into an outer circumferential form of the bottom plate, pressure-contacted thermally to the bottom plate and made into an edge frame. CONSTITUTION:A bottom plate 2, for example, a heartlike state is manufactured of a polysturene sheet 4 having a fixed thickness by making use of a blanking die. On the other hand, foaming polystyrol is manufactured into a beltlike state whose width is the same as a height of a vessel, which is cut every outer circumferential dimensions of the bottom plate and then an annular beltlike member 5 is manufactured by joining both ends of the beltlike foaming polystyrol with an adhesive agent or hot press bonding. When the annular beltlike member 5 is manufactured in this manner, the beltlike member 5 is deformed elastically into a heart shape with a clamping mold and a heart-shaped beltlike member 6 is superposed upon the bottom plate 2 and pressure-contacted thermally. Then an edge frame 3 is held into an outer circumferential shape of the bottom plate 2 by harmonizing elastic restoration force of the edge frame 3 with binding force of the bottom plate 2.

(Prior art) Foods such as sweets and cooked rice are often sold in containers at stores, but in this case, from the perspective of sales promotion, the containers are shaped like hearts, animals, plants, etc. to attract the attention of buyers. It is desirable to do so.

Conventional containers of this type generally use a dense synthetic resin material or a foamed synthetic resin material and integrally mold the material into a container shape by injection molding or the like.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the conventional container manufacturing method described above, when forming a container in the shape of a heart, an animal or a plant, etc., a complicated injection mold is required, which only increases the cost. There was a problem that depending on the shape, it could not be cut out and could not be manufactured.

Other conventional manufacturing methods include, for example, Utility Model Publication No. 59-1
As shown in Japanese Patent No. 1888, there is also a method of forming the edge frame and the bottom plate separately and joining them together.

However, in such conventional manufacturing methods, the band-shaped edge frame is once bent to fit the outer periphery of the bottom, and then both ends are joined to each other and then joined to the bottom, which makes the edge frame complicated. It is difficult to form containers into shapes such as circles and hexagons, and only containers with straight outer circumferences or smooth curves can be manufactured. The general idea was that it could not be manufactured if it had an inflection part.

As a result of intensive research to solve the above-mentioned problems, the inventor of the present invention found that in the manufacturing method described in the above-mentioned publication, - first, the band-shaped edge frame is bent to match the outer periphery of the bottom plate, and both ends of the frame are joined to each other; is attached to the bottom plate,
Changing the idea, first, the band-shaped edge frame is joined at both ends to form an annular shape, which is then bent into the shape of the outer periphery of the bottom plate against elastic force and bonded to the bottom plate by thermocompression. The elastic restoring force of the base is balanced with the restraining force of the upper and bottom plates, so that the bottom plate can be formed into artificial shapes such as hearts, animal shapes such as dogs and horses, and plant shapes such as gourds and flowers.

The material of the bottom plate may be any material as long as it has a thermoplastic synthetic resin layer on its surface that can be bonded to the edge frame material by thermocompression, and is preferably made of non-foamed, high-density thermoplastic synthetic resin. Resin materials such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polypropylene, etc. can be used. The material of the edge frame may be any material as long as it has elastic deformability and can be thermocompression bonded to the bottom plate material, such as foamed synthetic resin materials such as foamed watermelon, synthetic resin-containing paper, or porous Any quality synthetic resin film can be used.

Further, the thickness of the bottom plate can be any value, for example 0.
The size may be about 1 to 1 mm. In addition, the length of the edge frame can be determined by determining the outer circumference of the bottom plate in advance and adjusting it to that length. The present invention was completed based on the finding that a container that can be held and has an arbitrary planar shape can be obtained.

Then, the elastic restoring force of the edge frame 3 and the restraining force of the bottom plate 2 are balanced, and the edge frame 3 is held in the outer peripheral shape of the bottom plate 2, thus producing the heart-shaped container 1 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. In the manufacturing method of this embodiment as described above, the elastic return force of the edge frame 3 and the restraining force of the bottom plate 2 are balanced to hold the edge frame 3 in the heart shape of the bottom plate 2, so it is very simple. The heart-shaped container 1 can be obtained by this method, and compared to the conventional injection molding method, expensive molds and injection equipment are not required, making it possible to realize cost reduction. (Effects of the invention) As described above, according to the method for manufacturing a container according to the present invention,
A bottom plate having an arbitrary outer circumferential shape is formed using a material that can be bonded by thermocompression, while an annular band member is formed using an elastically deformable material, and this is elastically deformed to the outer circumferential shape of the bottom plate and bonded to the bottom plate by thermocompression. Since the edge frame is formed by using a rim frame, there is an effect that a container having an arbitrary shape such as an animal or a plant can be manufactured at a low cost.
