Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a sludge solidifying agent equipped with excellent deodorizing effect by mixing 2,3-dihydroxy-1,4-dioxan with cement and/or lime. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing sludge solidifying agent is obtained by mixing about 20-100 pts.wt. of 2,3-dihydroxy-1,4-dioxan with 100 pts.wt. of cement and/or lime. Further, a quick setting agent may be contained within a range not damaging the setting capacity of cement and the deodorizing capacity of 2,3- dihydroxy-1,4-dioxan.
