Among solenoid valves, two-position solenoid on-off valves have normally open (NO) valves that are closed when the solenoid valve's electromagnet is energized and open when not energized, and conversely closed and energized when not energized. There are normally closed (NC) valves that open and open.

NO solenoid valves and NC solenoid valves were each made of unique components and were manufactured separately, but in order to increase productivity, NO solenoid valves and NC solenoid valves were standardized. For example, a solenoid, a valve main body to which the solenoid is fixed and moved by the solenoid, and a sub-plate connected to the valve main body and having multiple flow paths are common parts, and a sheet-like structure is formed between the valve main body and the sub-plate. By providing a gasket and considering the arrangement of the through hole formed in the gasket and the flow path of the sub-plate, the sheet-like gasket can be switched between the front and back sides and installed between the valve body and the sub-plate. Then NO
A solenoid valve was created, and by flipping the gasket over and attaching it, it became possible to create an NC solenoid valve.

In this structure, which makes it possible to create NO and NC solenoid valves by simply selecting the front and back of the mounting surface of the gasket and keeping all other parts in common, it is possible to create the desired NO and NC solenoid valves by simply installing the gasket on the front and back sides. This results in the creation of different types of solenoid valves.

In order to eliminate such mistakes during assembly, it has been proposed to provide a tongue piece that protrudes from between the valve body and the sub-plate on a part of the seal, and to attach a symbol to mark the distinction between NC and NO on the tongue piece. Ta. However, even if a gasket with a tongue piece with a symbol is used, the symbol will be displayed on the side that is visible during use, for example, the side viewed from the top of a valve with the valve body on top and the sub-plate on the bottom. The function of the valve changes depending on what is displayed on the back. Also, the surface visible during use and the surface visible to the worker when assembling the gasket may be opposite. Even if a tongue piece is attached to the cut-angle gasket in this way, it may be assembled incorrectly if the symbols are not read correctly during assembly.

The object of the present invention is to provide a solenoid valve that can correctly identify whether it is an NO solenoid valve or an NC solenoid valve when in use, and also prevents the user from making a mistake in the type of valve during assembly.

This was achieved by using a solenoid valve with a notch in one corner that indicates the type obtained in the assembled state, depending on the direction of the gasket during assembly.

A symbol to distinguish between NC and NO is attached to the part of the valve body 2 where the notch 8 of the seal 3 is located. When the seal is assembled as shown in Figure 3a, a symbol is attached to the seal tongue piece 7. You can see the NO symbol, but in the valve body 2, there is an NC symbol in the notch 8 of the seal 3.
symbol can be seen. The worker can identify the type of valve currently assembled by looking at the symbol on the valve body without having to look at the symbol on the tongue piece 7 of the seal and think twice to determine the type of valve. Therefore, it is possible to quickly judge whether the assembly instructions have been followed, and if the assembly instructions are incorrect, the packing 3 can be simply turned over. That is, the state is changed to the state shown in FIG. 3b, and the symbol NO of the valve body is recognized in the gasket notch 8, allowing the type of valve to be confirmed. At this time, the NC symbol can be seen on the tongue piece 7. Workers do not have any difficulty in determining the type of valve because they work using the symbol on the valve body 2, but the difference between the symbol on the tongue and the symbol on the valve body 2 found in the notch 8 of the gasket 3 may lead to misidentification. If there is a concern that this may occur, cover the symbol on the tongue 7 of the gasket 3 with removable tape or film so that it is not visible from the outside until after assembly is completed, and cover it at the necessary time after assembly is completed. It is possible to remove the tape, etc.

When assembled as an NO solenoid valve as shown in Figure 3b, the seal is in the state shown in Figure 1, and the NO symbol can be read from the top of the tongue piece 7. If you look at this state in a plan view after assembly, it will look like the one shown in Figure 4, and it can be seen from above that it is a NO solenoid valve.

With this invention, not only the operator after assembly but also the operator during assembly can identify the current type of valve at a glance, thereby preventing assembly errors. In particular, it has become possible to avoid assembly errors during maintenance and disassembly by the user.
