Conventionally, when raising various ornamental fish in an aquarium, a filtration device is installed in the aquarium to filter out impurities such as fish excrement in the water, and air is mixed into the filtered water to make the aquarium water. It is known that it is necessary to maintain it in a clean state at all times.

The filtered water obtained by passing through the main filtering material 9 is refluxed through the water return port 13 at the center of the top along with air bubbles generated from the air stone 11 disposed at the center of the container body 1.

By the way, in this type of filtration device, if the filter material becomes dirty or clogged with aquarium water,
The container body is disassembled to clean or replace the filter media, but this work is not only troublesome, but also causes the small gravel that serves as the bottom filter material to be scattered when the container body is disassembled or washed. It had the following problems.

Therefore, in this invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a lid body with a large number of water passage holes is attached to the bottom filter medium of the container body, and an air passage connected to the external air supply system is installed in the center of the lid body. The purpose is to simplify the work of cleaning or replacing each filter medium by storing the filter medium in an annular cassette container with protruding stones and a large number of water holes at the top and bottom.

In the filtration device according to this invention, the aquarium water introduced from the top water intake port of the container body is filtered by the main filter medium before reaching the bottom water hole through the top water hole of the annular cassette container, and The aquarium water introduced from the bottom water intake is similarly filtered by small gravel before reaching the water hole in the lid body, and this filtered water is sent to the aquarium through the water return port along with air bubbles generated from the air stone. It is something that is refluxed into the interior.

It has a container main body 34 consisting of a dish-shaped base 26 containing gravel 24 and a lid part 32 attached to the dish-shaped base 26 and equipped with a top water intake port 28 and a top water return cylinder 30. A base lid 38 (see FIG. 3) having a large number of water passage holes 36 is mounted on the gravel 24, and a main filter medium set 40 is disposed on the lid 38. The air stone 44 is inserted into the central hole 42, and the air stone 4

A main filter medium 50 is accommodated in the inside of the main filter medium 50, and a tapered ring recess 52 communicating with the ascending path 46 is formed at the bottom, and a large number of water passage holes 54 are opened in the ring recess 52. A lid member 58 having a large number of water holes 56 is attached thereto. In this case, the main filter medium 50
For example, it is preferable to form three types of annular filters 50a, 50b, and 50c with different densities, and to stack these annular filters 50a, 50b, and 50c sequentially from top to bottom so that the densities become higher. (See Figures 1 and 2).

(第1図および第2図参照)。 In the filtration device according to the present invention configured as described above, impurities such as fish excrement in the aquarium water introduced from the top water intake port 28 of the container body 34 are removed from the water flow hole 56 of the main filter medium cassette 40 through the bottom water flow hole. 54, the annular filters 50a, 50b,
50c, while the aquarium water introduced from the bottom water intake port 20 is filtered through the water passage hole 36 of the base lid body 38.
The aquarium water, which has been filtered and purified in this way, is filtered in the same way by the small gravel 24 in the dish-shaped base 26, and the aquarium water, together with air bubbles generated from the air stone 44, is passed through the ascending path 46 of the main filter medium set 40. The water is then returned to the water tank via the water return cylinder 30 of the lid 32 (see FIGS. 1 and 2).

As mentioned above, according to the filtration device according to the present invention, when cleaning small gravel as a bottom filter medium,
Not only can this be done with the lid attached, which prevents inconveniences such as the material falling off, but the main filter material is also housed in the cassette container, making it easy to clean or replace it. The aquarium water introduced from the top intake port is guided in the axial direction of the container (from top to bottom) to filter impurities.
Since the filtration layer formed by the main filter medium is significantly thicker than the conventional one, it has various advantages such as being able to improve filtration efficiency, and its practical effects are extremely large.
