Conventionally, in order to prevent mud splashing, it has been proposed to attach a mud splash prevention device that protrudes outward to the heel part of the sole (for example, Utility Model No.
39000, Utility Model Publication No. 17108, etc.). Also,
Utility Model Application No. 55-30077 and Utility Model Application No. 55-82909 disclose that it can be attached with a hook to the upper end of the heel of the upper of the shoe, and that the part of the sole corresponding to the heel is the most Mud catch plate (splash guard) that protrudes outward
A mud splash prevention device has been proposed. Furthermore, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-114003 discloses that the device is made of a slightly hard material and consists of a semicircular mud splash prevention part and two bent parts protruding from the center of this semicircular part. A mud splash prevention device is disclosed that is fixed to shoes or sandals using adhesive applied to the folded portion.

Publication No. 17108, Publication of Utility Model Application No. 1982-82909, Publication No. 1982-82909, Publication No. 17108
- According to the mud splash prevention device disclosed in Publication No. 30077, etc., the heel part of the sole protrudes outward and serves as a mud receiving part. If a receiving part is provided, it will not actually have a sufficient mud-repelling effect, and mud will splash around the calves. This tendency is particularly strong in women's shoes, which have higher heels than men's shoes.

Also, like the one in Utility Model Application Publication No. 60-17108,
If the mud splash prevention device is fixed to a shoe, it cannot be applied to other shoes, and if it is not raining, the mud splash prevention device cannot be applied to other shoes. It is difficult to wear because it looks unsightly due to the ingredients.

In the method disclosed in the above publication, the mud splash prevention device is attached to the shoe using a hook-shaped fitting, but since such a fitting is made of a relatively hard material such as a thin steel plate, it does not touch the foot. If the heel of the foot lifts up while walking, the mounting bracket may lift up from the shoe, causing the mud splash prevention device to come off the shoe. It may also be put away.

In the mud splash prevention device disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-114003, a slightly hard material is bent, the bent part is placed inside the shoe, and it is fixed to the shoe with adhesive. Because the bent part does not neatly follow the curve of the upper heel of the upper of the shoe, it hits the foot and hurts the foot. Additionally, the folded part is inside the shoe, making it uncomfortable to cover the shoe. Furthermore, if the mud splash prevention device is fixed to the shoe with adhesive,
Problems similar to those in Publication No. 17108 occur, and when using a removable adhesive similar to that in Publication of Utility Model Application No. 55-39000, due to the nature of such adhesive, it is necessary to repeatedly attach and detach. Therefore, the mud splash prevention device must be disposable, which is uneconomical.

Furthermore, the conventional mud splash preventive device described above does not have a good appearance, has poor fashionability, and cannot actually be used except in rainy weather.

According to the present invention, there is provided a mud splash prevention device that is detachably attached to the heel of the upper of a shoe, and comprises a mud receiving member and an attachment means for attaching the mud receiving member to the heel of the upper of the shoe. , the mud catcher member is made of a flexible sheet-like material and has gears, the attachment means is made of a relatively flexible material, and the mud catcher member projects outward from the upper end of the heel of the shoe. The above-mentioned problems have been solved by the mud splash prevention device, which is characterized in that it is attached by the attachment means as described above.

When the heel part of the upper of the shoe is shaped to cover the entire heel, in the mud splash prevention device of the present invention, the attachment means consists of a substantially vertical curved part and a horizontal bottom part continuous thereto. It is preferable that the shoe has a shape substantially similar to the heel of a shoe and is inserted into the inside of the shoe.

Further, when the heel of the upper of the shoe is in the shape of a belt, it is preferable that the means for attaching the mud splash prevention device is a small piece that can be wrapped around the belt and is provided with a velvet fastener.

According to the present invention, since the mud-receiving member is made to protrude outward from the upper end of the heel of the shoe, it exhibits a sufficient mud-repelling effect, and even in the case of women's shoes, mud is not splashed around the calf. It never rises. Furthermore, although the mud catcher is made of a flexible sheet-like material, it is equipped with gears, so even when the shoe is expanded so as to protrude outward from the upper end of the heel, the gears provide appropriate tension. You can have it. Therefore, the mud-receiving member does not sag during use, and the mud-repelling effect is sufficiently high.

Furthermore, since the mud receiving member is made of a flexible material with gears, it looks fashionable even when it is extended so as to protrude outward from the upper end of the heel of the shoe. In addition, if the mud splash prevention device of the present invention is attached to shoes other than on rainy days and the mud catcher is placed along the shoe without spreading it out, the mudguard with the gears will close to the heel of the shoe. It serves as a decoration and enhances fashionability.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, the attachment means is made of a relatively flexible material, so it does not hurt the feet or make the shoes uncomfortable to wear.

The mud receiving member 11 is made of a flexible sheet-like material, and the gears 11a are provided by folding the sheets. Suitable materials for the mud receiving member 11 are those that are flexible, have appropriate stiffness, and do not easily get wet, that is, those that do not absorb water or do not absorb water easily. For example, a flexible synthetic resin sheet or cloth coated with synthetic resin is preferable.

The attachment means 12 is detachably inserted into the heel portion 2a of the upper of the shoe 2, and is shown in FIG.
As is clear from FIGS. 3 and 4, it has a shape substantially similar to the heel portion 2a of the shoe 2, and consists of a substantially vertical curved portion 12a and a continuous horizontal bottom portion 12b. This attachment means 12 is made of a relatively flexible material so as not to hurt the foot even if it hits the foot, and like the mud receiving member 11, it may be made of a flexible synthetic resin sheet or cloth coated with synthetic resin. It may be fine, or it may be made of untreated fabric.

Further, when the mud receiving member 11 is made of a relatively flexible material, the mud splash prevention device 1 is attached to the shoe 2 without widening the gears 11a of the mud receiving member 11, and the mud receiving member 11 is attached to the shoe 2. The mud splash preventive device 1 can be placed along the heel portion 2a of the upper, and therefore, even when it is not raining, the mud splash prevention device 1 can be attached to the shoe without opening the gears 11a. Thus, the mud receiving member 11 can be used as a decoration for the heel portion 2a of the shoe.
