Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent bad oder of contaminant on a dish (such as smell of fish, smell of a curry and so on) from remaining in the interior of a washer by washing a dish within a specified temperature range using peroxide end a detergent. CONSTITUTION:Dishes are washed within the range of 50-70 deg.C using peroxy chemical compounds such as sodium percarbonate, potassium percarbonate sodium perboric acid or the like and a detergent special for washing dishes. If the temperature is under 50 deg.C, the reactivity of the peroxy chemical compound is not good enough to remove the odor of the interior of a dish washer. If the temperature exceeds 70 deg.C, the durability of a dish made of material such as synthetic resin or the like can not be kept. When the peroxy chemical compound is dissolved in water, it changes into hydrogen peroxide. and further perhydroxy ions generated when it reacts with alkaline water solution decompose amines aldehydes and so on, which are generated from contaminants on a dish and the principal components of the bed smell to have low molecular weight and remove the odor. Further, some of residue which is a main generating source of the odor is also decomposed and dissolved to be washed away, whereby the odor is removed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to a dishwasher that has a deodorizing effect and does not leave food odors such as fish odors in the interior of the dishwasher.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention Although this strong alkaline detergent has very good detergency, it has the following drawbacks. That is, since a strong alkaline detergent is used, the dishwasher is not only dangerous, but also produces a strong chlorine odor in the exhaust air and inside the refrigerator, causing discomfort. In addition, dichloroisocyanurate, which is formulated to increase cleaning power, is powerful, so it can
It strongly decomposes mainly lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and their heated denatured products, and generates a strong chlorine odor along with a large amount of exhaust odor.

In order to improve this problem, it may be possible to use a weakly alkaline, low-risk detergent that does not contain dichloroisocyanurate. However, in this case, no chlorine odor is generated during cleaning, but a strong food odor (fish odor, curry odor, etc.) is generated, and even after cleaning is completed, this odor remains as a residual odor in the refrigerator. If left unattended, this residual odor will increase as the number of washings increases, and it will remain as an odor unique to dishwashers. Currently, the only way to remove the odor remaining in the oven is to carefully wipe the interior of the oven after every cleaning or to operate the oven without contaminated dishes. However, even if these methods are used, they have little effect on the odor remaining inside drainage hoses, etc., and cannot be said to be completely removed.

Function The peroxygen compound used in the present invention changes to hydrogen peroxide when dissolved in water. Taking sodium percarbonate as an example of a peroxygen compound, when dissolved in water, it dissolves as follows: Ha 23/2 H202-1 → Na2 co 5 +
3/2 H202 Furthermore, the generated hydrogen peroxide reacts with an alkaline aqueous solution as shown in the following equation.

H2O2+OH::shiH20+H00 The HOO (perhydroxy ions) generated at this time decomposes amines, aldehydes, etc., which are the main components of odors generated from tableware contaminants, and converts them into low-molecular molecules, making them odorless and at the same time eliminating the main odor. Deodorization is achieved by decomposing and dissolving a portion of the residue that is the source of the odor, and flushing it away with the wastewater.

Figure 1 shows the temperature dependence of peroxygen compounds. As is clear from the characteristics shown in Figure 1, peroxygen compounds have a temperature of 50°C.
This shows that the reactivity suddenly increases when the temperature rises above ℃. Peroxygen compounds that can be used in the present invention include sodium percarbonate, potassium percarbonate, and sodium perborate.

minutes) After the dishes are washed and the function of the detergent is fully demonstrated, adding a peroxygen compound and washing for a certain period of time (6 to 10 minutes) further increases the deodorizing effect. If the time is less than the respective time, the detergent and the peroxygen compound will not react sufficiently, and if the time exceeds the respective time, the cleaning time will be too long and the speed of the dishwasher will be lost.

In the dishwasher used in the examples of the present invention, sodium percarbonate was automatically added during washing. This dishwasher will be explained below with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. In FIGS. 2 and 3, a front door 6 that covers the front opening of the cleaning tank 2 is shown.
contains a detergent container 7 and a peroxygen compound (sodium percarbonate).
A case 9 for containing powder is provided. A lid 8 rotatable about a fulcrum 11 is attached to the case 9 via a seal backing 1o. When the lid 7 is closed, the seal backing 10 maintains the seal against water.

In the above configuration, after setting tableware in the tableware basket 3,
Pour 5 y of detergent with formulation example M or B into the detergent container 7, then put 1 y of sodium percarbonate powder into the case 9, close the lid 7, close the front door θ, and turn on the start switch (not shown). The water supplied to the bottom of the cleaning tank 2 is sprayed from the cleaning nozzle 4 by the cleaning pump 5 and returns to the bottom of the cleaning tank 2 again. At this time, the detergent previously placed in the detergent container 7 is dissolved, and the washing water is heated by the heater 12 and acts for about 15 minutes until the temperature reaches 50°C. After 16 minutes, an electromagnetic magnet (not shown) closes case 9.
The lid 8 is unlocked and opened by the force of a spring (not shown), and the sodium percarbonate is dissolved in the cleaning liquid. The oxidizing action of the sodium percarbonate deodorizes the odors emitted from the contaminated dishes, and after 5 minutes the dishes are drained, followed by a rinsing process.

This dishwasher was used to wash four plates (25 cm in diameter, made of ceramic) contaminated with residue from grilled saury. Process A assumes that only the detergent with formulation example M is added during operation.
The process of adding sodium percarbonate to this is called processum.
Process B was the case where only the detergent of Formulation Example B was added, and Process B was the process where sodium percarbonate was added. After the completion of the drying process in each process, the odor in the refrigerator was measured using the three-point comparative odor bag method ( (From the 1985 Sensory Test Method Investigation Report)
It was measured by The results are shown in FIG. As is clear from the results in FIG. 4, when the present invention was used (Process and B), a deodorizing effect was observed.
