Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、ミシンによる布の縫合に際し、正送
りの場合と逆送りの場合とで、糸調子皿に加えら
れる圧力を変えて、正送りと逆送りの場合に起る
縫目調子の変化を防止する糸調子機構に関するも
のである。

ミシンにおいては、布押え金にはミシン針の通
る孔より前方に溝が設けられてあつて、この溝を
通して、縫合する部分と針の貫通する部分を作業
者が確かめながら作業が行われる。布押え金がこ
のような構造となつているため、第6図に示すよ
うに、正送りで縫合する場合は、上糸は布と押え
金の間で押え込まれた状態で天秤で引き上げられ
るが、この条件下で、上糸と下糸が布の中間で交
絡するように糸調子皿に加えられる圧力が調整さ
れてある。ところが逆送りの場合は、第7図に示
されるように、上糸は、押え金の針孔前方に溝が
あるため、押え金により押えられることなく、下
糸との交絡点より直ちに上方に天秤により引き上
げられることになり、第6図に示されるような布
と押え金との間での上糸への摩擦力が加えられな
いので、正送りの場合と同じ圧力が糸調子皿に加
わつたままだと、上糸の下糸への引張力が大とな
り、下糸が布上面に引き出されて糸調子がおかし
くなつたり、布に縫縮みが生じたりする現象が生
ずる。本発明はこの点を改善するものである。

If the upper thread remains tied, the tensile force exerted on the bobbin thread by the upper thread becomes large, causing the bobbin thread to be pulled out to the upper surface of the fabric, causing problems such as uneven thread tension and crinkling of the fabric. 1図に示す実施例においては、糸調子皿部に二又
状くさび5を電磁機構6により挿入したり、引込
めたりして、糸調子皿間に加わつている押圧力を
変更させようとする場合が示されている。その糸
調子機構4の詳細は第2図に示されているが、糸
調子機構4は、糸調子軸7に一組の糸調子皿8,
9が挿入され、これを押圧するためのバネ10が
糸調子軸に切られたネジ11に螺合する調節ナツ
ト12により調節可能に押え付けられている。さ
らに、糸調子皿9の裏面にはくさび5が出入され
るようになつており、糸調子皿9の裏側にはくさ
び5の傾斜面に対応する斜面が形成されていて、
くさび5の上下運動にともなつて、糸調子皿9は
糸調子軸7に直角を保つて左右に移動するように
なる。それゆえ、第2図において、くさび5を上
昇させると糸調子皿9は左方に移動し、糸調子皿
8を介してバネ10を圧縮するので、糸調子皿間
を通る糸は強く押えられるため、天秤3による縫
目の糸締めは強く行われ、逆に、くさび5を下方
に移動すると糸締めは弱く行われる。したがつ
て、布送りが順方向に行われる時には、くさび5
を上げておき、布送りが逆方向となる場合にくさ
びを下げるようにして、布送りの順方向、逆方向
の切替に連動して、糸調子皿間の押圧力を変更さ
せることができる。

子機構としてもよい。また、第4図のように糸調
子皿にリニアモータ16を設けて、リニアモータ
の電流値を変化させることにより切替を行うよう
にしてもよい。第1図においてはくさび5の移動
を電磁機構6を用いて、布送りの正逆切替に対応
するようにしてあるが、レバー機構を介して機械
的にくさび5の移動を行わせるようにしてもよ
い。なお、第5図は電磁機構によるくさびの駆動
回路の一例を示す図である。
