Abstract

PURPOSE:To apply a lightning horn insulator device to an existing transmission line supporting insulator device with a low cost by attaching an auxiliary insulator, having a discharge electrode at ground side, to a link fitting or a supporting arm at ground side of a supporting insulator and connecting an electrode at power supply side of a lightning insulator and the discharge electrode at ground side to each other via a lead wire. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary insulator 18 is supported by a horn fitting 6. A discharge electrode 23 at ground side is supported by the auxiliary insulator 18 at an edge thereof. A lightning insulator 15 only is attached to a supporting arm 2 by means of a fitting adaptor 13. The discharge electrode 23 and an electrode 17 at power supply side of the lightning insulator 15 is connected to each other via a lead wire 25. Thus, the auxiliary insulator 18 may be compact for sufficiently keeping insulation between the discharge electrode 23 at ground side and the horn fitting 6. Furthermore, the lightning insulator 15 is not restricted by a place where the discharge electrode 23 is grounded so that the lightning insulator 15 is attached to any place of the supporting arm 23.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] This invention uses a lightning protection function to quickly discharge abnormal current to the ground when a lightning surge causes an abnormal current to flow in a power transmission line, thereby preventing a permanent ground fault. This invention relates to a lightning horn insulator device equipped with a lightning arrester.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, the conventional lightning horn insulator device has a lightning arrester 15.
Since the ground side discharge electrode 23 was directly attached to the tip of the lightning arrester 15, for example, when the connection length of the hanging insulator 8 is short, the mounting adapter 13 is raised to ensure the discharge gap G. When it becomes necessary to displace the lightning arrester 15 upward or to displace the lightning arrester 15 laterally, when the lightning arrester 15 is displaced upward, the connection between the transmission line located in the upper phase and the upper end conductive part of the lightning arrester 15 Insulation clearance becomes smaller,
There was a problem in that it was difficult to apply to existing power transmission line support insulator devices.
