Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent incomplete combustion, stabilize the combustion, and reduce the noise of combustion by forced supply of both primary air and secondary air by a fan, the primary air into a gas-burner assembly and the secondary air over the sides of the gas-burner assembly upward. CONSTITUTION:By turning on a combustion switch a fan is run; part of the air from the fan is sent through an inlet opening 2 and into a gas burner assembly 1 as primary air and a flammable gas is ejected from a gas nozzle 24 and supplied to the gas burner assembly 1. The remaining part of the air from the fan is sent rising over the sides of the gas burner assembly 1 as secondary air. The flammable gas and the primary air are mixed as they flow through a mixing section 3 and the mixture flows into a space inside ranges of vertical slits 6 from under the lower ends 9 of separating plates 7. The ranges of vertical slits 6 are open to the mixing section 3 only at the low ends 9 so that the mixed gas has its pressure evenly distributed as it flows into the space inside the ranges of vertical slits 6 and rises therein. The mixed gas is discharged gently through slit-shaped flame holes 5. The mixed gas is ignited and spreads over combustion surfaces 4 when it burns.

[Prior Art] In recent years, forced combustion type gas appliances have been introduced, which are configured to forcibly supply and exhaust combustion air by inserting a fan into the intake and exhaust passages of household gas appliances such as water heaters and bathtubs. has come to be used. These forced-combustion type gas appliances have a heat exchanger with improved heat absorption compared to natural exhaust type gas appliances, allowing for smaller appliances and higher performance, making them a versatile household gas appliance. It is something. A gas burner built into a forced combustion type gas appliance is configured to forcibly blow primary air supplied during the gas burner's rest period and secondary air that rises along the side of the gas burner body using a fan. [Problem to be solved by the invention] However, due to the demand for higher capacity and smaller size of household gas appliances, when attempting to increase the load of gas burners, conventional gas burners suffer from flame failure due to lack of secondary air. complete combustion occurs;

In addition, when trying to increase the load with a small gas burner, a sufficient combustion area cannot be obtained, and the combustion flame vibrates violently, producing a loud combustion noise. Combined with the wind noise of the combustion air blown by the fan, the combustion flame becomes loud. This caused noise and was not suitable for installation in residential areas.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention aims to solve the above problems by providing a forced combustion type gas burner with a new configuration. The edges are brought into close contact, the inlet opening for the gas and primary air, the mixing part for the gas and primary air, the cross section extending upward from the upper end of the mixing part across the mixing part, and closing at the apex, which is approximately reverse in cross section. Form a V-shaped combustion surface, drill slit flame holes along the hanging line on the combustion surface, arrange the slit flame holes in parallel on the combustion surface at appropriate pitch intervals, and place the slit flame holes on the back side of each slit flame hole. A gas burner body is formed by providing a vertical groove-shaped guide passage communicating with the mixing section at the lower end, and the primary air supplied into the gas burner body and the secondary air rising along the side surface of the gas burner body are mixed by a fan. Configured to force air.

Specifically, a separator plate is formed in which vertical slit holes are arranged in parallel at pitches corresponding to the slit flame holes, and the slit vertical holes are positioned on the back side of the slit flame holes, and a partition plate is placed behind the separator plate. By holding the separator plate in contact with the back side of the combustion surface and opening the slit vertical hole into the mixing part at the lower end, a vertical groove-shaped guide passage can be formed.9 The above gas burner body can also be used alone. However, depending on the capacity of the gas appliance, it is also possible to configure a burner section by arranging a plurality of gas burner bodies in a horizontal line in a burner case.

In Fig. 2, the broken line arrows indicate the mixed gas, and the solid line arrows indicate the flow of air. When the combustion switch is turned on and the fan is operated, a part of the blown air flows from the inlet opening (2) to the gas burner body (1). ) as primary air, and at the same time, combustible gas is ejected from the gas nozzle (24) into the gas burner body (1). Other blast air rises as secondary air along the sides of the gas burner body (1). The gas supplied into the gas burner body (1) and the primary air are mixed in the mixing section (3).
It flows into the slit longitudinal hole (6), that is, into the longitudinal groove-shaped guide passage, from the lower end (9) of the slit longitudinal hole (6) of the separator plate (7). Slit vertical hole (
6), only the lower end (9) is open to the mixing part (3), so the pressure of the mixed gas is uniformly throttled and flows into the slit vertical hole (6), forming a vertical groove-shaped guide passage. The mixed gas discharged from the 9-slit flame hole (5) rises while being guided by the 9-slit flame hole (5) and is gradually and gently discharged from the 9-slit flame hole (5), and a combustion flame is formed on the combustion surface along (4). and burn.

A combustion surface is formed that extends upward from the upper end of the mixing section across the mixing section, and has a substantially inverted V-shaped cross section that closes at the apex, and the slit flame holes are arranged in parallel with the combustion surface at appropriate pitch intervals to prevent combustion. Since the combustion flame is formed along the surface, an extremely large combustion area can be obtained for each gas burner body, making it possible to increase the load of the gas burner. Air diffuses between the slit flame holes and pickpockets...! Since the hot gas discharged from the flame hole is sufficiently supplied, incomplete combustion due to lack of secondary air can be prevented and stable combustion can be achieved.

In addition, a vertical groove-shaped guide passage is provided on the back side of each slit flame hole, and the lower end communicates with the mixing section. Since the discharge is gradual and gentle, it is possible to prevent flame lifting during high-load combustion, and the vertical groove-shaped guide passage provided on the back of the slit flame hole communicates with the mixing section at the lower end, so that the slit flame hole can be directly Because it has a configuration that does not communicate with the mixing section,
It is also possible to prevent flame back phenomenon during low load combustion. Therefore, the applicable range of the combustion capacity of the burner is expanded, a stable combustion flame can be obtained that adapts to changes in combustion load, and it is possible to fully respond to the capacity conversion function of gas appliances.

In addition, since the combustion surface extends upward from the upper end of the mixing section across the mixing section and closes at the apex, it forms a combustion surface with an approximately inverted 7-shaped cross section, so the gas burner body is formed extremely flat and the secondary air is is supplied between the gas burner bodies without being shielded, so
In addition to being able to significantly reduce the wind noise of combustion air, as mentioned above, a sufficient combustion area is obtained and the combustion flame is stable, so combustion noise is also reduced, making it much quieter than conventional products. Gas appliances are available.

Furthermore, when a burner section is constructed by arranging a plurality of gas burner bodies in a horizontal line in a burner case, - as mentioned above, the gas burner bodies are formed extremely flat and have excellent secondary air diffusivity. This allows the gas burner bodies to be placed side by side in a high density, making it possible to further reduce the size of the burner unit and increase the load capacity. It has practical effects such as being able to set the
