この発明は、四サイクルエンジンのピストン潤滑装置に
関する。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] This invention relates to a piston lubrication device for a four-stroke engine.
四勺イクルエンジンは、クランク室下部に潤滑オイルが
封入してあって、クランクシャフトやコネクチングロッ
ドの回転で、潤滑オイルを掻上げて、シリンダーの摺動
向やピストンを潤滑するようにしている。ピストンには
、ピストンヘッドに近い外周にリング溝が設けてあって
、トップリング、セカンドリングのコンブレッジ3ンリ
ングを嵌合せて、ピストンとシリンダーの摺動面の気密
を保つようにし、最も下側のリング溝にオイルリングを
嵌合せて、潤滑オイルをオイルリングで掻落し、潤滑オ
イルが、ピストンヘッドの上側の燃焼室に入らないよう
にしている。オイルリングで、潤滑オイルを掻落し過ぎ
ると、ピストン外周下部のスカート部に油膜切れができ
て、潤滑不足が起る。このため、第7図及び第8図に示
すように、ピストンのスカート部Aに、複数の直径1〜
2履程度の孔Bを内側に貫通させて穿設し、掻上げた潤
滑オイルがピストンの内側から孔Bを通って外周スカー
ト部Aに入り、lT11清不足にならないようにしてい

Approximately two holes B are drilled through the piston to prevent lubricant oil from being pumped up from the inside of the piston, passing through the holes B and entering the outer skirt portion A, thereby preventing the lT11 from becoming insufficiently clean.

り加工を必要とせずコストダウンが図れて潤滑性もよい
四サイクルエンジンのピストン潤滑装置を得ることを目

は、窪みの中央部分に内側に貫通する小孔を設けること
によって、潤滑オイルを補充できる。窪みは、ピストン
鋳造時に同時成形すればよく、小孔をドリルで明ける場
合も、パリ取り加工の必要がないので、製造コストを安
価にできる。又、ピストンのスカート部分の潤滑性がよ
くなることによって、メカニカルロスを低減して性能向
