トバンド21bと称する非磁化領域を設けているが、こ
のような磁気テープ媒体21も高トラツク密度化される
と前記ガートバンド21bの幅も当然の如く狭められ、
上記のようなサイドクロストークを減少させることが困
難であった。

雑音を低減した新規な垂直記録再生用磁気ヘッドを提供
することを目的とするものである。

等によるサイドクロストーク雑音の発生も低減すること

垂直記録層24より高透磁率な軟磁性層23に抜けてい
くため、前記各主磁極13により磁化記録された記録ト
ラック21aの情報を減磁、または消去したり、記録再
生を妨げることがな(なる。

能となる等、実用上価れた効果を奏する。
