Abstract

PURPOSE:To make switches of different appliances compatible between each other by connecting a power connector with a changing switch through an extension cable, and disposing an inlet and the changing switch in installation surfaces of a box-shaped case. CONSTITUTION:The device includes an inlet 2 installed in one end surface of a box-shaped case 1, and a changing switch 3 installed in one of other surfaces 1B crossing the inlet-installed surface 1A of the case 1. This changing switch 3 is connected with a power connector 5 through an extension cable 4. The case 1 is provided with guide rail parts 2A, 3A at one end of the installation surfaces of the inlet 2 and the changing switch 3 to be used for installation. The guide rail parts 2A, 3A are provided extending along the flat direction of the case 1 without crossing each other. When the box-shaped case 1 is used for a power source switch, it can be installed at any position where it is more convenient for use.

〔発明の効果] 以上説明したように、本発明によると、印字装置等に使
用する電源投入用インレットとスイッチを同一ケースに
収納しユニット化するとともに、高さ方向において中央
部より上下対象に装備したので、ハウジングベース等の
四隅に設置することができ、又異った機器に対しても互
換性を持った標準ユニットとして活用出来るため、設計
工数の削除、保守の容易性、互換性、資材管理の合理化
及び共通化による生産性の向上等、あらゆる面で合理化
が可能となるという従来にない優れたスイッチ装置を提
供することができる。
