Traditionally, cold- and water-resistant clothing worn by workers engaged in work that involves floating on the sea surface has been
Various types of clothing have been developed and put into practical use, but basically they consist of a jacket-like jacket with an integrated hood if necessary, or a round-neck shirt-like jacket without a hood, and a slacks-like lower garment. It can be said to be a so-called tethered type.

That is, in the case of the conventional cold-resistant and water-resistant clothing mentioned above,
The entire jacket is made of a fabric made of a waterproof sheet or waterproof foam sheet made of flexible synthetic resin or synthetic rubber, and the opening/closing part for putting on and taking off the jacket is equipped with a watertight fastener. The hood or collar of the upper garment is in close contact with the wearer's head or neck, and the cuffs of the upper garment and the hem openings of the legs of the lower garment are formed so as to maintain watertightness when worn. This prevents seawater etc. from penetrating inside the clothing, but at the same time, the water vapor generated inside the cold-resistant and water-resistant clothing due to sweating of the wearer is not released to the outside and remains inside the clothing. This not only worsens the wearing comfort, but also ultimately causes the water vapor to cool down and turn into water droplets, further worsening the wearing comfort and lowering work efficiency.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned difficulties of the conventional technology, and
The purpose of this clothing is to provide cold- and water-resistant clothing that can easily and efficiently dissipate water vapor generated inside the wearer's sweat to the outside, and is made of flexible synthetic resin. Alternatively, fabrics made of waterproof sheets or waterproof foam sheets made of synthetic rubber or the like can be used to form upper garments and slacks-like lower garments that are integrally equipped with hoods, or upper garments and lower garments can be integrally formed into upper garments. A cold- and water-resistant garment in which the hood or collar of the garment can be brought into close contact with the wearer's head or neck, and the cuffs of the upper garment and the hem openings of the legs of the lower garment are formed so as to maintain watertightness when worn. The jacket is characterized by having a moisture-permeable waterproof section on the chest made of a material that blocks moisture such as seawater but allows water vapor generated from the wearer's body to pass through.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a so-called joint-type main body that has a structure in which a round-necked shirt-like upper garment 2 and a slacks-like lower garment 3 are connected and integrated, and are made of fabric made of a waterproof sheet made of flexible synthetic resin or synthetic rubber. Further, 7 is a watertight fastener for attachment and detachment disposed from the neck of the upper garment 1 to the crotch of the lower garment 2 in the main body 1, and the above structure is not different from conventional cold-resistant and water-resistant clothing.

Although this embodiment describes a one-piece type garment, the present invention can also be applied to a top-and-bottom type garment in which the upper and lower garments 2 and 3 can be connected and separated using watertight fasteners or the like. Regardless of whether it is a one-piece type or a separate top and bottom type, the hood is made sufficiently small overall so that it can fit closely against the wearer's head or neck when worn.
The upper garment 2 may be shaped like a jacket.

In other words, the chest of the jacket 2 is made of a material that blocks water such as seawater from flowing from the outside to the inside, while allowing water vapor generated from the wearer's body to pass from the inside to the outside when the wearer sweats. A moisture-permeable waterproof portion 8 formed by the above method is provided.

The reason why the moisture-permeable and waterproof part 8 is arranged only on the chest of the upper garment 2 is not only for economical reasons, but also because the chest is generally prone to perspiration, and water vapor generated in the lower garment 3 also collects in the upper garment 2. If the entire body is made of the above-mentioned moisture-permeable and waterproof material, there will be no problem when working on land, but when working at sea, the part that is submerged in seawater will be exposed to water. This is because it has been experimentally confirmed that the interior becomes highly humid, as if water vapor is penetrating, increasing thermal conductivity and impairing cold resistance, one of its most important functions.

Therefore, as mentioned above, the cold-resistant and water-resistant clothing of the present invention is especially useful for workers engaged in work that involves floating on the sea surface, and such a floating state is a secondary
As shown in the figure, the moisture permeable waterproof part 8
If it is arranged on the chest of the jacket 2 and above the water surface in that state, the moisture-permeable waterproof part 8 will not be submerged in seawater etc., and the moisture-permeable waterproof part 8 will be most efficiently sealed. 8 can be made to function.

In other words, the moisture-permeable waterproof part 8 is not made to cover the entire chest of the jacket 2, but is formed in a shape such that its left and right ends are located on the slightly watertight fastener 7 side, and is placed on the chest of the jacket 2. It is.

The cold-resistant and water-resistant clothing of the present invention constructed as described above is
By lowering the watertight fastener 7 and then wearing the jacket 2 while unfolding it, the collar of the jacket 2 will come into close contact with the wearer's neck, and the water-stopping member 5 of the jacket will come into close contact with the wearer's wrist. However, in the case of the cold-resistant and water-resistant clothing of the present invention, a moisture-permeable waterproof part 8 formed of a material that blocks moisture but allows water vapor to pass through is provided on the chest of the jacket 2. Because of this, it maintains the same effect as conventional products in that seawater does not infiltrate even when working at sea, but also prevents water vapor generated internally from sweating by the wearer to the outside. Therefore, it is possible to minimize the decrease in work efficiency caused by water vapor staying inside and turning into water droplets, which worsens the feeling of wearing, which is common with conventional products. can.

In addition, since the moisture-permeable waterproof portion 8 is arranged only on the chest area and not on the entire outer garment 2, the cold-resistant and water-resistant garment of the present invention can be manufactured at approximately the same cost as conventional products, although it exhibits the above-mentioned effects. We can also provide fabrication.

On the other hand, the cold-resistant and water-resistant clothing of the present invention is particularly suited to be worn by workers engaged in work that involves floating on the sea surface. If the moisture-permeable waterproof part 8 is placed only in that part, the moisture-permeable waterproof part 8 can be made smaller and function efficiently without causing the phenomenon of water vapor penetrating. It becomes possible to do so.
