Abstract

PURPOSE:To arrange an automatic paging means near an exit/entrance and to miniaturize a processor by saving a part to be normally discharged from the exit/entrance of a medium to a save part, which is formed between the exit/entrance and the automatic paging means, at the time of paging operation. CONSTITUTION:Paging is executed by an automatic paging means 7 and the paging is executed while carrying booklets in the direction of an exit/entrance 2. Here, the rear edge (the exit/entrance 2 side) of a bankbook P is guided by a shutter gate 3, which is also used as a distributing means, and falls down to a bankbook save part 26 while being deformed. Thus, since the part to be normally discharged from the medium exit/entrance 2 is saved to the save part 26, which is formed between the exit/entrance 2 and automatic paging means 7, at the time of paging operation, the automatic paging means 7 can be arranged near the exit/entrance 2 and the processor can be miniaturized.

(Prior Art) In recent years, automatic teller machines (hereinafter referred to as ATMs) have come into widespread use. Usually, these types of devices are equipped with a passbook printer unit as a booklet processing device, and are used to record transaction details. The information is printed on a passbook as a pamphlet, and after the transaction is completed, the passbook is released into the outlet to be delivered to the customer. Further, when printing on the passbook extends to the next page, the page is conveyed to an automatic page turning means and turned over, and then it is checked whether or not it is the correct page, and if it is correct, printing is restarted.
