本考案はホイールキヤツプの改良に関するもの

以下、本考案の一実施例を第１図〜第３図に基
づいて説明する。１は図示しない車輪のリム部に
弾性力を有する図示しない押圧部で取付けられる
ホイールキヤツプである。２はホイールキヤツプ
１に設けられた開口部であり、タイヤを保持する
車輪のリム部から突出する空気注入用のバルブ３
に対向する位置に設けられるようにホイールキヤ
ツプ１が上記車輪に取付けられると共に第１図に
おいて左右両端縁部はテーパ状のエツジ４が設け
られている。５はホイールキヤツプ１に設けられ
た突起６でホイールキヤツプ１に固定され、開口
部２を開閉できるように薄肉で形成したヒンジ部
７を有する樹脂等から成る弾性体のバルブキヤツ
プであり、第３図において左右両端部が開口部２
のエツジ４と嵌合するようにテーパ状の縁部８に
形成されている。９はホイールキヤツプ１の円周
上に等間隔に複数個設けられた飾り穴であり、上
記の開口部２はこれらの飾り穴の１つに連続して

入する必要がない時には、バルブキヤツプ５をヒ
ンジ部７回りに回転させてバルブキヤツプ５をホ
イールキヤツプ１に強く押し込めば、バルブキヤ
ツプ５の弾性力によりテーパ状のエツジ４とテー
パ状の縁部８とが係合して、開口部２が閉になり
バルブキヤツプ５がホイールキヤツプ１から移動
