本考案はホイールキヤツプの改良に関するもの

以下、本考案の一実施例を第1図〜第3図に基
づいて説明する。1は図示しない車輪のリム部に
弾性力を有する図示しない押圧部で取付けられる
ホイールキヤツプである。2はホイールキヤツプ
1に設けられた開口部であり、タイヤを保持する
車輪のリム部から突出する空気注入用のバルブ3
に対向する位置に設けられるようにホイールキヤ
ツプ1が上記車輪に取付けられると共に第1図に
おいて左右両端縁部はテーパ状のエツジ4が設け
られている。5はホイールキヤツプ1に設けられ
た突起6でホイールキヤツプ1に固定され、開口
部2を開閉できるように薄肉で形成したヒンジ部
7を有する樹脂等から成る弾性体のバルブキヤツ
プであり、第3図において左右両端部が開口部2
のエツジ4と嵌合するようにテーパ状の縁部8に
形成されている。9はホイールキヤツプ1の円周
上に等間隔に複数個設けられた飾り穴であり、上
記の開口部2はこれらの飾り穴の1つに連続して

入する必要がない時には、バルブキヤツプ5をヒ
ンジ部7回りに回転させてバルブキヤツプ5をホ
イールキヤツプ1に強く押し込めば、バルブキヤ
ツプ5の弾性力によりテーパ状のエツジ4とテー
パ状の縁部8とが係合して、開口部2が閉になり
バルブキヤツプ5がホイールキヤツプ1から移動
