Claims (1)
水を循環させるウオータジヤケツトをそれぞれ形
成するとともに、前記シリンダブロツクまたはシ
リンダヘツドの少なくとも一方に前記ウオータジ
ヤケツトから分岐した循環通路を形成し、前記ウ
オータジヤケツトに対してウオータポンプからの
冷却水を供給し、前記ウオータジヤケツトからの
冷却水をラジエタを経て前記ウオータポンプの吸
込側に導く冷却通路と、前記ウオータジヤケツト
からの冷却水を前記ラジエタを迂回して前記ウオ
ータポンプの吸込側に導く第一バイパス通路と、
この第一バイパス通路を冷却水温度に応じて開閉
するサーモスタツトバルブと、前記循環通路に前
記ウオータジヤケツトからの冷却水を供給し、前
記循環通路からの冷却水を前記ラジエタを迂回し
て前記ウオータポンプの吸込側に導く第二バイパ
ス通路を設け、かつ前記第一バイパス通路の通水
抵抗を前記冷却通路の通水抵抗に等しいかまたは
それより小さく形成したことを特徴とするエンジ
