Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure an adequate rate of air discharge so as to obtain a high deodorizing efficiency and miniaturize the overall size of device by attaching a deodorant material for removing the odorant components in the air to the inner surface of air passages of a centrifugal air impeller which comprises superposed annular corrugated plates. CONSTITUTION:When a centrifugal air impeller 6 is rotated by means of a motor 4, the air in its center is sucked, the air outside the body casing 1, i.e., the air in the room, is sucked into the center of the centrifugal air impeller 6. Such air is caused to flow into and through a number of air passages 11 in the rotating centrifugal air impeller 6 toward the radially outer side. During the process, deodorant components contained in the air are caused to be absorbed and deodorized by a deodorizing material attached to the inner surface of the air passages 11. Thereafter, the deodorized air from the air passages 11 is supplied through the air outlet 3 to the outside, i.e., into the room. The suction and delivery of the room air is thus continuously performed, and so, all the air in the room can be ultimately deodorized.

(Prior Art) As this type of deodorizing device, the following are considered. That is, in an outer box provided with an intake port and an exhaust port, a ventilation path communicating with the intake port and exhaust port is provided, and a blower device consisting of a motor and a blower impeller is provided in the ventilation path, for example, on the exhaust port side. In addition, a plurality of filters each retaining a deodorizing agent for I days are provided between the air blower and the air intake port. Then, by driving the blower, indoor air is sucked in from the intake port, flows through the ventilation path toward the exhaust port, and sequentially passes through a plurality of layers of filters. During this time, odor components in the air are adsorbed by the deodorizer in the filter.
Deodorized air is discharged into the room from the exhaust port.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, with the above-mentioned conventional configuration, a space for arranging the air blower and a space for forming a ventilation path for providing a filter are required in the outer box, so the entire device is large. There was a flaw in the form.

In addition, in such a deodorizing device, when air passes through the filter, odor components in the air are adsorbed and deodorized by coming into contact with the deodorizing agent.
In order to obtain good deodorizing performance, it is necessary to increase the thickness of the filter or increase the number of filters so that the contact between the odor component and the deodorizing agent is good. On the other hand, in order to efficiently deodorize indoor air by increasing the exhaust amount per unit time, it is necessary to increase the area of the filter (the cross-sectional area of the ventilation path). Therefore, it has good deodorizing performance and large tl.
In order to ensure sufficient airflow, the filter must be large,
As a result, the size of the device becomes even larger.

[Configuration of the Invention (Means for Solving the Problems)] The deodorizing device of the present invention sucks indoor air using a blower impeller disposed inside a main body case and rotated by a motor, deodorizes the indoor air, and removes the odor from the main body. The blower is configured to discharge air outside the case, and the blower is a centrifugal blower having a number of air passages formed by laminating annular corrugated plates connecting the inner and outer circumferences, and the centrifugal blower is It is characterized in that the inner surface of the air flow path of the impeller is loaded with a deodorizing agent for removing odor components from the air.

(Function) According to the above means, when the centrifugal blower wheel rotates, indoor air flows from the center side to the outer circumferential side in the air flow path, and odor components come into contact with the deodorizer in this air flow path and are removed. be done. Therefore, this centrifugal blower impeller exhibits a blowing action and also has a deodorizing function itself. In this case, by increasing the number of waves in the corrugated plate, the number of air channels can be extremely increased, and the cross-sectional area of each individual air channel can be made sufficiently small. The area is sufficiently large and the deodorizer can be supported over a wide area. As a result, the frequency with which odor components contained in the air flowing through each air flow path comes into contact with the deodorizing agent becomes extremely high, making it possible to perform high-performance deodorization. Moreover,
Since the cross-sectional area of the air flow path as a whole can be made sufficiently large, a large amount of air can be secured even if the air flow velocity in each air flow path is slow.

When the centrifugal blower wheel 6 is rotationally driven, the static pressure increases as the circumferential velocity increases toward the outer periphery of each air flow path 11, and the cross-sectional area of the air flow path 11 increases toward the outer periphery. As a result, static pressure increases due to a decrease in flow velocity, which functions as a centrifugal blower impeller and sends the upper air from the inner circumference side to the outer circumference side. The annular plate 8 and the corrugated plate 9 have the following features. The deodorizer is supported in the following manner. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the annular plate 8 and the corrugated plate 9 have short fibers 12 flocked on their surfaces. This fiber 12 has a diameter of 0.05 m and a length of 0.05 m.
Approximately 3 fins, both 11ij8. 9 is tightly adhered to the entire surface without any gaps. Then, apply a deodorizing liquid (for example, "Fresh Shiraimatsu" (trademark) manufactured by Shiraimatsu Shinyaku Co., Ltd., which is made from plant-extracted deodorizing ingredients) to the 12 areas of the flocked hair.
) is soaked and dried, thereby making the deodorizer adhere to the entire surface of the annular plate 8 and the corrugated plate 9. As a result, the inner surface of the air flow path 11 of the centrifugal blower 6 is in a state where the deodorizing agent is supported on the entire surface. can.

Next, the operation of the above configuration will be explained. When an operation switch (not shown) is turned on, the centrifugal blower wheel 6 is rotationally driven by the motor 4, and this draws air from the center side. As a result, air outside the main body case 1 , that is, inside the room, is sucked in through the intake port 2 and sent to the center side of the centrifugal blower wheel 6 .

This air flows into a large number of air channels 11 of the rotating centrifugal blower wheel 6, and is flown through the air channels 11 toward the outer circumference. During this time, odor components contained in the air are absorbed by the deodorizer attached to the inner surface of the air flow path 11 and deodorized. Thereafter, the deodorized air flowing out from the air flow path 11 is discharged to the outside (indoor) through the exhaust port 3. In this way, indoor air is continuously taken in and discharged, and eventually the entire indoor air is deodorized.

According to this embodiment, the number of air flows Wll is significantly increased due to the structure of the centrifugal blower impeller 6.
The cross-sectional area of the air flow path 11 as a whole becomes sufficiently large, and the flow velocity of the air within the air flow path 11 can be suppressed while ensuring a sufficient amount of air flow. Along with this, the air flow path 11
Since the overall internal area is sufficiently large, the deodorizer is applied over a wide area. Therefore, the air flows through the air flow path 11 to which the deodorizer is attached over a wide area.
Since the deodorizer flows slowly through the air, good contact between the odor components in the air and the deodorizer is achieved.

In addition, since the centrifugal blower wheel 6 has a blowing function and also has a deodorizing function, it requires a space for installing a blower and a space for a filter, as in conventional ones. Unlike the above, a motor 4 and a centrifugal blower wheel 6
All you need is enough space to place the □. Therefore, in addition to having the above-mentioned high deodorizing efficiency, it is possible to downsize the device. In particular, in this embodiment, since the bulge 7a surrounding the motor 4 is formed in the center of the centrifugal blower wheel 6, the device as a whole can be further downsized.

In the above embodiment, both the annular plate 8 and the corrugated plate 9 carry the deodorizing agent, but only one of them may carry the deodorizing agent. Further, the deodorizing agent may be granular activated carbon or the like, and in this case, it may be attached using an adhesive. Further, the annular plate and the corrugated plate may be formed of a fibrous material such as corrugated paper and impregnated with the deodorizing liquid.
