本発明は、多層包装材製の、縦方向継目を有す
る筒形の胴と、該胴の開口部内に挿入されてこれ
を密封する多層包装材製の2つのふたとより成
り、該ふたは、U字形の折り縁によつて胴の端縁
をつかんでいる形式の包装容器に関する。ドイツ
連邦共和国出願公開第1611933号明細書に記載さ
れている公知の包装容器においては、胴の縦方向
継目は縦縁部を重ね合わせて形成されており、そ

いる形式の包装容器において、前記胴の多層包装
材は外側から内側に向かつて、熱可塑性プラスチ
ツクから成るカバー層20、厚紙から成る補強層
21、アルミニウムから成るシール層22、熱可
塑性プラスチツクから成る封印層23を有してお
り、さらに胴1の縦方向継目5が、胴の母線に沿
つて直線的に延びていてかつ胴1の突き合わせ縁
部の両側を被う2つのカバー条片6,7,8を有
する突き合わせ継目として構成されていて、該カ
バー条片6,7,8が、胴の上記突き合わせ縁部
に封着されており、しかも、カバー条片のうち内
側のカバー条片6は、ポリエチレン又はポリプロ
ピレンから成る両側の封印層25,27と、ポリ
アミドフイルム又はポリエステルフイルムから成
る中間となる補強層26とから形成されており、
さらに、折り縁11を有するふた2・3は絞り成
形によつて形成されていて、しかもふたの多層包
装材は外側から内側に向かつて熱可塑性プラスチ
