Conventionally, as a sound insulation device for a top-hung type sliding door, a tight frame material extending the entire width of the door is supported vertically and slidably in grooves formed on the upper and lower end surfaces of the door, and the tight frame material is coated with rubber, etc. Attach the tight material and advance the above tight frame material from the upper and lower surfaces of the door using a vertical drive means to press the upper tight material to the hanging rail and the lower tight material to the floor surface, thereby insulating sound inside and outside using the door as a boundary. A type of structure is known, but with this conventional device, in order to achieve a sufficient sound insulation effect, the tight frame material must be brought into close contact with the groove wall of the door, and if it is brought into close contact, frictional resistance increases. , a large amount of force is required to raise and lower the tight frame material, so if the frictional resistance is reduced in order to raise and lower the tight frame material smoothly, sound will pass in and out through the grooves in the door that support the tight frame material, and the sound insulation effect will be improved. There was a drawback that I couldn't get enough.

16, elastic tight members 18, 18 each having a substantially hollow trapezoidal cross section and having a fitting base on one side are attached by fitting the bases, and fitting grooves 1 on the lower surface are respectively attached.
7 and 17, tight materials 19 and 19 with a hollow circular cross section and a large amount of expansion and contraction, each having a base for fitting into the crocodile on one side of the tight material 19, 19 having a base for fitting into the crocodile on one side thereof, are respectively attached to the sound insulating material. The base of the other side of the tight materials 19, 19 of the body 14 is attached to the cover plate 10.
The sound insulator 14 is fitted into fitting grooves 20, 20 each having a rectangular C-shaped cross section extending over the entire length in the longitudinal direction provided on the upper surface of both the inner and outer sides of the door 4, so that the entire sound insulation body 14 projects from the upper end surface of the door 4 so as to be vertically expandable and contractible. .

According to the sound insulation device for a sliding door of this invention, the upper and lower end surfaces of the door are closed, and a pair of inner and outer tight members of the sound insulation body are attached to the closed portions, so there is no groove etc. for sound to pass through as in the conventional case. It can provide sufficient sound insulation, and since the sound insulation body is attached to the top and bottom edges of the door, strong force is not required to move the sound insulation body up and down, allowing it to move up and down smoothly, and the structure is extremely simple and inexpensive. It also has the advantage of being able to be manufactured using
