A single-pipe water heater simply connects the water heater and the hot water supply section with a hot water supply pipe, and although this method has a simple configuration, even if you open the hot water outlet and start hot water supply, it will not work immediately. The drawback is that hot water at a predetermined temperature cannot be obtained and the user has to wait until the residual water in the pipes drains.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, for example, a conventional circulating type hot water supply system S includes a hot water storage tank C between a water heater a and a hot water outlet, and a hot water storage tank C between the water heater a and a hot water supply tank C. Hot water circulation systems d and d' each having circulation pumps p and p' are formed between the hot water supply section and the hot water outlet section, and a water supply pipe e connected to the water supply is connected to the hot water storage tank C. In this configuration, when the hot water is not in use, the water in the hot water storage tank C is heated by the heat exchanger f of the water heater a via the hot water circulation system d and maintained at a predetermined temperature, and the water in the hot water circulation system The water in the pipe g of d' is also maintained at a predetermined temperature by circulation.

However, immediately after opening the hot water outlet and starting hot water supply, the water in the pipe g flows out, but as mentioned above, the water in the pipe g is maintained at a predetermined temperature by circulation, so immediately after the hot water is released, the water in the pipe g flows out. You can obtain hot water at a predetermined temperature from Incidentally, during such hot water supply, the operation of the circulation pump p' of the hot water circulation system d' is stopped, and clean water corresponding to the amount of hot water is supplied from the water supply pipe e into the hot water storage tank C.

First, when hot water is not being supplied from the hot water outlet 20 etc. of the hot water supply section 3, water is not supplied from the water supply pipe 10, and in this state, the circulation pump 11 is operated to configure the hot water supply circulation system H. In addition to circulating water in the piping, water heater 1
The burner 22 is controlled in accordance with the temperature of the circulating water detected by the water temperature detecting means 21 provided in the heat exchanger 23 to maintain the water temperature at a predetermined temperature. In the above case, circulation pump 1
1 may be operated continuously or may be operated intermittently at predetermined time intervals.

When the hot water outlet 20 is opened to start hot water supply, an amount of clean water commensurate with the amount of hot water dispensed is supplied from the water supply through the water supply system C and into the hot water circulation system H from the confluence point P. In this state, While stopping the operation of the circulation pump 11,
Operate the burner 23. The water supplied to the hot water circulation system H does not flow in this direction because of the check valve 12, but all flows in the direction of the heat exchanger 23 of the water heater 1. After being heated, the hot water circulation system H is connected to the water heater 1.
From there, the hot water passes through the hot water supply circulation unit 2 again to reach the hot water supply section 3, where the hot water is discharged from the hot water outlet 20. In such a case, immediately after opening the hot water outlet 20 and starting hot water supply, first the hot water circulation system H is opened.
At this time, residual water in the piping on the downstream side of the heat exchanger 23 is discharged, but since this residual water is maintained at a predetermined temperature by the circulation described above, hot water at a predetermined temperature is obtained immediately after the hot water is discharged. After all the remaining water has been discharged, fresh tap water that has been supplied and heated to a desired temperature in the heat exchanger 23 is discharged.

As described above, the hot water circulation operation of the hot water circulation system H by the circulation pump 11 is performed by detecting the absence of hot water in the hot water supply section 3 and when there is no hot water being discharged. This control can be performed by the following method, etc.

First, the method shown in FIG. 1 is a method in which a flowing water detecting means 16 is provided at an appropriate location of the water supply pipe 10, and the circulation pump 11 is controlled according to a signal from the flowing water detecting means 16. The hot water output from the hot water supply section 3 corresponds to the water supply from the water supply pipe 10 to the hot water supply circulation system H. Therefore, when this water supply is detected, the hot water circulation operation by the circulation pump 11 is stopped, so that the hot water supply at the time of hot water supply is stopped. It is possible to prevent the inconvenience of interference between the hot water supply operation and the hot water supply circulation operation.

Next, in the method shown in FIG. 2, the water heater pipe 9c is provided with a flow rate detection means 17, and the water supply pipe 18 of the water heater 1 is provided with a flow rate detection means 19, and each flow rate detection means 19.17 detects the flow rate. The circulation pump 11 is controlled according to the difference in signals. The hot water in the hot water supply section 3 causes the water supply pipe 10 to
When water is supplied to the hot water supply circulation system H from By stopping the hot water circulation operation by the circulation pump 11 when this is detected, it is possible to prevent the inconvenience of interference between the hot water supply operation and the hot water circulation operation.

As described above, the present invention makes it possible to configure a circulating hot water system without requiring a hot water storage tank and one of the two pumps, which were required in the conventional configuration, resulting in low cost and savings. This has the effect of providing a hot water supply device that can obtain hot water at a predetermined temperature immediately after hot water is tapped, while satisfying the space requirement. In particular, in the present invention, such a water heater is constituted by a water heater, a hot water supply circulation unit, and a hot water supply section, and these are connected by piping. The present invention has the advantage that a wide variety of water heaters can be constructed by appropriately setting its configuration and capacity, and that existing water heaters can be used.
