A mounting member for mounting on the camera casing is provided at at least one end of the grip belt, and when the battery is attached or removed, the mounting member is retracted from the battery mounting position on the side surface of the camera casing, and the battery is mounted. The video camera is characterized in that the mounting member is brought into contact with the battery after the battery is removed.
