。BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The outer panels of building materials, household goods, office equipment, etc. are often painted to have a low gloss, so-called "matte" surface, in order to improve their cosmetic appearance. Its glossiness is often 60% or less based on 60 degree specular reflectance.

Scratches (in this specification, these are collectively referred to as "scratches, etc.") are likely to occur, thereby degrading the appearance.

However, it is difficult to match the gloss level of the non-repaired area, the applied coating liquid tends to flow down and it is not easy to finish the coated surface uniformly, and if the film thickness changes, the level of gloss becomes dull. However, there is a strong desire to develop a drastic repair method for matte painted surfaces.

。First, non-drying oils are substances that are liquid at room temperature and do not harden into a solid state by themselves or by heating. Specifically, non-drying oils are organic oils such as fatty oils (for example, castor oil and olive The iodine value of
0 or less) and mineral oils (inorganic oily substances) such as machine oil and gear oil. Incidentally, waxes such as paraffin, katabara wax, carnauba wax, and polyethylene wax are unsuitable for repairing matte coatings.

In other words, when the repair agent is applied to areas such as scratches, it penetrates and moistens the cracks, scratches, etc., and as a result, the whitening phenomenon caused by the scratches, etc. disappears, and the gloss of the repaired area is also different from other areas. Therefore, defects such as scratches are eliminated. The amount of application is determined so that the repair agent penetrates into areas such as scratches,
It is sufficient to wet the area, and it is preferable to wipe off any excess applied.

Therefore, when scratches etc. occur on a painted surface with a matte finish, by applying the above-mentioned repair agent to the scratched area (painted surface) and removing the excess as necessary, the gloss will be restored based on the phenomenon described above. Scratches and the like disappear without changing the gloss of the eraser coating, and the scratches and the like are hardly or not visible at all. Moreover, by applying the repair agent, weather resistance, water resistance, etc. can be improved.

The most preferable method for applying the repair agent is to rub it into the scratched area (painted surface) with a cloth or foam impregnated with the repair agent; It can also be applied by wiping off the excess.
