Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically boil rice of different sort by providing a plurality of rice chest parts for storing rice and discharging by the prescribed amount and an operating part for setting the sort of rice. CONSTITUTION:Initially, when rice is boiled, the sort of the rice and the amount of the boiled rice and the condition of water of its own choice are set through an operating part 13. When a start switch is pressed, the set sort of the rice, the amount of the boiled rice and the condition of water are stored in a storing circuit 14, the set amount of the boiled rice is discharged from a rice chest in which the set sort of the rice is stored, washed in a rice washing part 5 and enters to a pan 1. The amount of water according to the set condition of water is fed to the pan 1 from a water feed part 8. The pan 1 is heated by a heating means 2, the heating means 2 is controlled by a temperature detector 15 to complete a rice boiling. When unpolished rice is boiled, if the sort of the rice is changed to the unpolished rice, the rice of the set amount of boiled rice is discharged from the rice chest part 3 in which the unpolished rice is stored. Thereafter, the unpolished rice is boiled with the optimum amount of water and the condition of fire in a similar process. These serial movements are all controlled by a control circuit 12.

Conventional technology Automatic rice cookers that perform a series of operations from washing rice to adding water and cooking rice traditionally have only one rice bin, so naturally only one type of rice can be used to cook rice in a series. Fully automatic rice cooking was not possible. Therefore, if you wanted to cook rice with a type of rice other than the one in the rice pot, you had to wash the rice and adjust the water level yourself, just like with conventional rice cookers.

First, when cooking rice for the first time, set the desired rice type, amount of rice to be cooked, and amount of water through the operation unit 13. When the start switch is pressed, the set type of rice, amount of rice to be cooked, and amount of water are stored in the memory circuit 14. The set amount of cooked rice is taken out from the rice pot section 3 containing the set type of rice, washed in the rice washing section 6, and placed in the pot 1. Further, the amount of water according to the set amount of water is also supplied to the pot 1 from the water supply section 8.

If the rice you cooked last time was white rice and you want to cook brown rice next time, change the type of rice to brown rice using the operation unit 13, and the set amount of cooked rice will be dispensed from the rice bin 3 containing the brown rice. After that, follow the same process as before and cook the rice using the amount of water and heat that is optimal for brown rice. All of these series of movements are controlled by the control circuit 12.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the description of the embodiments above, the automatic rice cooker of the present invention is equipped with a plurality of rice pots capable of storing and discharging rice in predetermined amounts, and an operation section for setting the type of rice. Therefore, by storing different types of rice such as white rice, brown rice, germ rice, etc. in multiple rice bins, you can automatically set the rice type by simply setting the rice type using the operation unit. The rice can be taken out from the rice bin, and therefore, even when cooking different types of rice, it is possible to automate everything from washing the rice to adjusting the amount of water.
