Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a safety pipe coupling free from directional tensile force, simple in construction and inexpensive to produce by forming a contacting surface between first and second couplings into a spherical configuration and coupling them together by a shear pin. CONSTITUTION:A second coupling 20 is provided on the side of a first coupling 11 with a concave spherical zone 21 in close contact with a spherical zone 15 of the first coupling 11 and these spherical zones 15 and 21 constitute a contacting surface A therebetween. A shear pin 23 is driven into a metal ring 16 to couple these couplings together. When an oil feed hose 4 is pulled to exert the tensile force on the second coupling 20 in the directions other than the axis X of a safety pipe coupling 10, e.g. the direction Y, the second coupling 20 attempts to rotate clockwise in the direction Y on a point B in which a plane including axes X and Y and a base part 14 of the contacting surface A intersect. And when the tensile force is equal to or greater than a preset value, the shear pin 23 is cut off so as to separate the couplings 11 and 20 from each other. At the same time, an engageable wire 22 is disengaged to allow a ball valve 17 to rest on a valve seat 13 to obstruct the passage.

[Prior Art] In a refueling device, a safety pipe joint is provided in the middle of the hose in order to prevent a large external force from being applied to the hose (see, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-48912 by the present applicant).

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The joint surfaces of the first pipe joint and the second pipe joint of the safety pipe joint are formed in a cylindrical shape. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, a refueling hose 4 is connected via a safety pipe fitting 3 to a pipe 2 connected to a discharge port of a flow meter (not shown) of a refueling machine 1, and a refueling nozzle is connected to the tip of the refueling hose 4. In the refueling device provided with the refueling hose 5, if the refueling nozzle 5 is inserted into the refueling lower of the car 6 and the car 6 accidentally starts moving while refueling, the refueling hose 4 is pulled and becomes straight as shown in the figure. Since no tensile force is applied to the safety pipe joint 3 in the axial direction, it may not separate. That is, there is directionality of the tensile force.

To deal with this, between the safety pipe joint 3 and the pipe 2,
A short hose or a swivel joint is interposed so that when the refueling hose is pulled, the refueling hose 4 and the safety pipe joint 3 are in an illumination state. However, this makes the structure complicated and expensive.

The joint surface of the first pipe joint is formed into a convex spherical zone with a diameter of the base, and the joint surface of the second pipe joint is formed into a concave spherical zone that closely contacts the first joint surface, Preferably, a refueling hose is connected to the second pipe joint.

Further, it is preferable that the front surface portion on the base side of the convex spherical band be formed of a hard metal ring, and the shear bin be driven into this hard metal ring from the second pipe joint.

[Function] In the safety pipe joint configured as described above, when a tensile force is applied to the second pipe joint in the axial direction through the refueling hose, the share bin is cut and both pipe joints are disconnected as in the conventional case. To separate. If a tensile force is applied in a direction other than the axis, the second pipe joint rotates in the tensile direction using the point where the plane including the tensile direction and the axis of the safety pipe joint intersects the base of the joint surface as a fulcrum. When the tensile force exceeds the set value, the shear bin is cut and rotated, separating the two pipe joints.

[実施例] 以下図面を参照して本発明の詳細な説明する。[Example] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

In FIG. 1, the safety pipe joint, which is designated as a whole by the reference numeral 10, is
A first pipe joint 11 screwed onto the pipe 2 and a refueling port 4
It consists of a second pipe joint 20 into which is fitted, and a share bin 23 that connects the two.

A valve seat 13 is formed in the inner hole 12 of the first pipe joint 11, and the ball valve 17 seated on the valve seat 13 is provided in the second pipe joint 20 in the illustrated state.
It is detached from the valve seat 13 by an engagement wire 22 protruding to the side, and a flow path is formed that communicates the gage g2 and the oil supply hose 4.

The second pipe joint 20 side of this first pipe joint 11 is connected to the base 1

On the other hand, on the side of the first pipe joint 11 of the second pipe joint 20, a concave spherical band 21 is formed that closely contacts the spherical band 15 of the first pipe joint 11, and these spherical bands 15 and 21 form a joint surface. A is formed, and this joint surface A is 0 with the ball IF15E provided.
The ring 18 provides oil tightness. The first pipe joint 11 and the second pipe joint 20 are connected by driving a shear pin 23 into the metal ring 16 that is loosely fitted into the recess of the first pipe joint 11, and both joints are made rotatable. There is.

Therefore, the refueling hose 4 is pulled and the second pipe joint 2
When a tensile force is applied to the safety pipe joint 10 in a direction other than the axis X, for example, in the Y direction, the second pipe joint 20 moves to a point B where a plane including the axes X and Y intersects the base 14 of the joint surface A. With this as a fulcrum, it attempts to rotate clockwise toward the Y side, as shown by the arrow.

[Effects of the Invention] Since the present invention is configured as described above, the directionality of the tensile force is eliminated by the joint surface formed in the shape of a spherical band, and the parts are separated with a substantially set tensile force no matter which direction they are pulled. , it is possible to prevent a large external force from being applied to the refueling hose.

Furthermore, since the bonding surface is simply formed into a spherical band shape, the structure is simple and inexpensive.
