〔考案の利用分野〕
本考案は、チラーユニツト運転中において、水
冷却器の冷水が断水した場合、水冷却器内の冷水

第1図にシエルアンドチユーブ式、第2図に多
管コイル式水冷却器の従来技術を示すように、チ
ラーユニツトの水冷却器の凍結防止サーモスタツ
トにおいて、本体部は、電気品箱等に納め、感温
部は水冷却器冷水出口側に取り付けられている。
この場合、通常運転時は、冷水出口側の冷水温度
が最も低くなるため、出口側温度の検知によりチ
ラーユニツトの運転停止を行なわせることにより
凍結を防ぐことができる。しかし断水により、水
冷却器に水が送り込まれなくなつた場合、より温
度の低い冷水は、水冷却器最下部に集まり下部の
方から凍結する為、冷水出口側に取り付けられた
凍結防止サーモスタツトの感温部付近の冷水温度
を検知したのでは、水冷却器の最下部の冷水凍結
を防ぐことができない。これらに関連するものに
実開昭52−91557号がある。

る場所付近に接触させることにより、凍結による
破壊を防ぐものである。

ツト感温部と、本体部を連結するキヤピラリーを
冷水入口側の水冷却器の下部に巻き付けるか又は
接触させる。チラーユニツトの通常運転時は温度
の最も低い冷水出口側に取り付けられた凍結防止
サーモスタツト感温部により、冷水温度を検知
し、冷水の凍結を防ぎ、また冷水が断水した場合
は、水温が最も早く低下する水冷却器の下部に巻
き付けるか又は、接触させた凍結防止サーモスタ
ツトのキヤピラリーで、水温を検知することによ
り、冷水の凍結による水冷却器の破壊を防ぐこと
が可能となる。
