置が使用される。かかる清掃装置は駆動ローラと
清掃片とを備えており、駆動ローラをハンドレー
ル案内ローラの外周面に当接させてこれを回転駆
動させ、この駆動ローラちは異なる位置で当該案
内ローラの外周面に当接させた清掃片により前記
付着物の除去を行おうというものである。

型軽量化を実現することが困難であつた。また、

が被清掃ローラの外周面の幅全体と当接するもの
であつたため、この清掃片が剛体からなる場合、
接触面に凹凸のむらができて接触状態が当該ロー
ラ外周面の全幅にわたつて一様にならず、除去す
べき付着物を取り残してしまうという不具合があ
つた。なお、清掃片を刷毛製とすることは、刷毛
そのものの清掃が必要となるばかりか、刷毛先端
部に塑性変形を生じやすいため、実用的ではな
い。
