This is natural from the point of view of making the vehicle run smoothly and extending the life of each part, and as a conventional method for this purpose, for example, the ``H-shaped guide rail fixing method'' disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 51-64208. , a "rail connecting device" disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 49-54202 has been proposed. At the joints found in these conventional rails, the part that restrains the relative displacement of both guide rails occupies space in areas other than the guide surfaces (wheel rolling surfaces), which reduces the vehicle space in terms of vehicle structure. It has drawbacks that lead to

The present invention has been made with attention to the above-mentioned points, and the present invention has been made by focusing on the above-mentioned points, and in the joint portion that longitudinally connects guide rails whose both sides are used as guide surfaces, a special space is occupied other than the portion constituting the guide surfaces. To provide a joint structure of guide rails that can be reliably connected without causing any steps on the guide surface.

The present invention provides a right-facing contact surface at the end of one guide rail and a left-facing contact surface at a different position from the corresponding contact surface at a location where guide rails whose both sides are used as guide surfaces are connected in the longitudinal direction. A right locking surface that acts on the right-facing abutment surface and a left-hand locking surface that acts on the left-facing abutment surface are provided at the end of the other guide rail, and each of the abutment surfaces and the The gist is that all of the stop surfaces are arranged within the thickness between both guide surfaces so that the back surface of the portion forming each contact surface and locking surface becomes the guide surface.

At the connection point of two guide rails to be connected, a right-facing contact surface 2 is attached to the end of one of the guide rails 1.
A left-facing contact surface 3 is provided below the contact surface 2 at a different position, and a right locking surface 5 that acts on the right-facing contact surface 2 and a left-facing contact surface 5 are provided at the end of the other guide rail 4. A left locking surface 6 that acts on the abutment surface 3 is provided,
All of the abutment surfaces 2, 3 and the locking surfaces 5, 6 are arranged within the thickness of both guide surfaces, that is, the web of the inverted T-shaped guide rail, and each of the abutment surfaces 2, 3 and the locking surfaces 5 , 6 forming the rear surface 7, 8, 9, 10
The structure is such that it serves as a guide surface. It should be noted that the range indicated by the two dashed double-dashed lines indicated by A in the figure is the area where the wheels normally roll, and it can be seen that the wheels are designed to pass over both sides of the back surfaces 8 and 9.

It is also possible to attach the processed web piece 11 to the rail web at the position indicated by the dashed dot line by welding or the like so that the entire long rail does not have to be handled when processing the contact surface and the locking surface.

FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment in which an inverted T-shaped steel material is used as in FIG. 1, and there are a plurality of contact surfaces and locking surfaces. In this embodiment, one guide rail 12

Compared to FIG. 1, it has the advantage that it has a wider width that can be used as a guide surface and that the engagement between both rails is stable.

FIG. 3 is a side view showing a third embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the portion indicated by a-a in FIG. 3. In this embodiment, one guide rail 22 has right-facing contact surfaces 23, 24 and a left-facing contact surface 25, and the other guide rail 26 has right locking surfaces 27, 28 and a left locking surface 29. It is constructed in the same manner as in FIGS. 1 and 2, and has substantially the same effects.
Furthermore, as is clear from the figure, the advantage of this embodiment is that most of the portion protruding from the guide rail end is the same as the web thickness of the guide rail, resulting in a structure that is resistant to lateral loads. Each abutting surface and locking surface has a small area to reduce the amount of protrusion of the thin wall portion, thereby eliminating weak points in terms of strength and rigidity. Although the area of each contact surface and locking surface is small, sufficient length is provided in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail so that the abutting surface and the locking surface do not interfere with relative movement in the longitudinal direction such as temperature expansion and contraction of the guide rail. The engagement of the stop surface is maintained. The laterally elongated rear surface, which is of the same shape as each abutment surface and locking surface, is adapted to form a guide track with other adjacent parts.

As is clear from the above structure, the joint structure of the guide rails of the present invention restrains the relative displacement of one guide rail and the other guide rail in either the left or right direction due to the action of the contact surface and the locking surface. Therefore, by simply increasing the dimensional accuracy of the contact surface and guide surface, as well as the locking surface and guide surface, it is possible to create a joint between guide rails with no steps on the guide surface.
It can be carried out in relatively small thicknesses, such as in the web of guide tracks, where both sides are used as guide surfaces, and
By using the back surface of each contact surface and the locking surface as a guide rail, for example, it is possible to
The well-known Z-shape or finger-shape shown in FIG. 1 can be obtained, and the effect of smoothing the rolling of the wheel can also be obtained. Incidentally, the rolling of the wheel can be made smoother by rounding the longitudinal ends of the rail ends and the rear surfaces of each contact surface and locking surface.

Furthermore, the joint structure of the present invention has the effect of being able to follow the relative movement of the guide rails as the guide rails expand and contract in the longitudinal direction due to changes in temperature and the like, without any difficulty.
