ステータに対向してハウジング内に同軸に配設さ
れたモータロータと、該モータロータから軸方向
に延長され軸受を介して前記ハウジングに軸回転
自在に支持されたロータと、該ロータに取りつけ
られた割出テーブルと、該割出テーブルの回転角
を検出する回転検出器及び割出テーブルを停止位
置に保持するクランプ機構とを備えた直接駆動型
回転割出テーブルにおいて、 前記クランプ機構は、一端側がハウジングに片
持ちに固定されると共に自由端側が前記ロータと
離接自在とした第１の弾性部材と、径方向に広が
る平面部を具えて軸方向に摺動自在に配設され前
記第１の弾性部材をその弾性に抗して前記ロータ
に向かつて押圧するシリンダと、該シリンダの平
面部に対向する平面部を有すると共に前記割出テ
ーブルの裏面を押圧する摩擦面を有して前記シリ
ンダ内面に摺接するピストンと、該ピストンの軸
方向移動を許容し軸回転は阻止するべくピストン
をハウジングに係止する第２の弾性部材と、前記
シリンダ及びピストンの対向する平面部間に設け
られた加圧室と、該加圧室に加圧流体を送入する
流体経路とを備えたことを特徴とする直接駆動型
