That is, the seat belt 11 is belt-shaped and has a predetermined length, and a tongue (not shown) for engaging with a buckle is sewn to one end of the seat belt 11, and the other end is attached to the winding shaft 3 of the retractor 1. is fixed to. The housing 2 of this retractor 1 includes
The winding shaft 3 is rotatably installed, and a return spring 1 is provided at one end of the winding shaft 3.

るのである。 On the other hand, this retractor 1 includes an acceleration sensor 4 that is composed of an inertial body 5 that tilts by sensing acceleration and deceleration applied to the vehicle body, and an arm 6 that is activated by the tilting of the inertial body 5. The ratchet lever 7 loosely fitted to the pawl 10 is actuated by the acceleration sensor 4, and the ratchet wheel 8 fixed to the winding shaft 3 is activated.
At the same time, the pawl 10 is operated by the rotation of the ratchet wheel 8 in the belt pulling direction after the engagement, and the pawl 10 is engaged with the ratchet plate 9 fixed to the winding shaft 3. Seatbelt 1 is prevented from being pulled out in an emergency.
This protects the occupant wearing 1 by restraining him or her in the seat.

問題点がある。 However, the seat belt 11 has a length sufficient to reach from the retractor 1 disposed in the center pillar to the buckle provided on the side of the seat, and the seat belt 11 having this length is fully wound. Since the belt is wound around the shaft 3 and stored in the housing, the belt winding diameter becomes large when stored, and the housing 2 requires a volume that can accommodate the seat belt 11 in this wound state. However, there are problems in that the retractor 1 becomes larger, and furthermore, the weight and installation space increase.

る。 Particularly today, in order to improve practicality, the amount of movement of the seat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body is increasing, and the overall length of the seat belt is also increasing accordingly, so the retractor has no choice but to become even larger. In addition, when the seat is placed at the rear end of the adjustable position range and the seatbelt is attached, the amount of the seatbelt that remains after being wound around the winding shaft 3 increases. The amount of play in the seatbelt that occurs between each winding layer is pulled out by the load at the time of a collision, so-called winding tightening increases, and the amount of forward movement of the occupant increases.
Since the interior layout of the vehicle must be designed in consideration of the amount of forward movement of the occupant, there is also a design problem in that the interior layout of the vehicle is restricted.

目的とするものである。Purpose of the invention This invention was made by focusing on the problems of conventional seat belts, and by using a member whose winding diameter is reduced in the part that does not affect the safety performance of the seat belt, the seat belt can be improved. By reducing the winding diameter when the belt is stored and by using a material that does not form a layer in the portion that remains inside the retractor when the belt is worn, the so-called tightness of the winding mentioned above can be resolved and the safety of the occupant during emergency locking can be reduced. It is an object of the present invention to provide a seat belt device that can reduce the amount of forward movement and thereby improve the degree of freedom in the interior layout of a vehicle.

A seat belt is attached to a belt body of a required length from the drawer side end, and one end is fixed to the belt body,
The other end of the cable is fixed to a belt winding shaft, and the winding shaft is provided with a recess for winding only the cable, and the length of the cable is set as the length stored in the recess at the time of winding. The belt body is wound up after the recessed portion of the winding shaft becomes substantially the same as the large diameter portion of the winding shaft other than the recessed portion.

Reference numeral 6 has a required length from the belt drawer side end to which a not-shown tongue for engagement with the buckle is sewn, and is made of the same material as conventional seat belts. A core material 14 is sewn to the other end of the belt body 16, and one end of a pair of cables 15, 15 is connected to the core material 14.
The other ends of the cables 15, 15 are fixed to the winding shaft 13 of the retractor 1. The cable 15 is made of a flexible, high-strength material, for example, made of a highly elastic organic material such as Kevlar,
The cable 15 and the belt main body 16 of a required length make up the entire length required for the seat belt 21.

As shown in Figure a, when the seat belt is worn at the last position within the range of movement of the seat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, that is, at the minimum pull-out length when the belt is fastened,
The belt main body 16 has a length that does not remain on the winding shaft 1 of the retractor 1, and the cable 15 is at the forefront position within the movement range, that is, at the maximum length when the belt is worn, as shown in FIG. The length is such that it does not come into contact with the body of the occupant, and in this embodiment, it is set within a range that does not exceed the shoulder anchor 17.

関する設計上の制約を減縮させることができる。 In this embodiment with the above configuration, when the belt is worn, since the belt main body 16 is provided at the above-mentioned required length from the belt drawer side end, only the belt main body 16 comes into contact with the body of the occupant. The occupant can be restrained with the same restraint area as a conventional seat belt. When the belt is worn, only the cables 15 are wound around the seat belt winding shaft 13, and the cables 15 are wound around the winding shaft 13 in layers like a belt-shaped seat belt. Moreover, since it is flexible, it is tightly wound around the winding shaft 13, so that the so-called tightening of the winding does not occur due to the load applied to the seat belt in the event of a collision, and the amount of forward movement of the occupant is reduced. By reducing the size of the vehicle, design constraints regarding vehicle layout can be reduced.

The cable 15 whose one end is fixed to the recesses 13a, 13a is wound up into the recesses 13a, 13a, and after the cable 15 has approximately the same diameter as the large diameter part of the winding shaft 13, the belt body 1
6 is wound up. Since this belt body 16 is provided only at the required length on the pull-out end side of the seat belt 21, the winding diameter of this belt body 16 after winding is different from that of a conventional seat belt. This makes it possible to downsize the retractor that accommodates the seat belt 21.

用性の高い車両の製造を可能にする。Effects of the Invention As explained above, the present invention provides a seat belt that has a predetermined draw-out length, is wound around a belt winding shaft, and is stored in a retractor. Since it is composed of a belt main body of the required length and a cable whose one end is connected to the belt main body and the other end is fixed to the winding shaft, the belt main body can easily move the occupant's body when the belt is worn. Also, by using cables that do not tighten, it is possible to reduce the amount of forward movement of the occupant when a load is applied to the seat belt, thereby reducing the amount of forward movement of the vehicle occupant due to this forward movement. It eliminates design constraints on interior layouts and makes it possible to manufacture highly practical vehicles.

化が図れる。 In addition, a part of the seat belt is used as a cable, and the winding shaft is provided with a recess for winding only the cable, and the length of the cable is set to be the length that is stored in the recess when winding. The concave part of the winding shaft is
The belt body is wound up after it becomes substantially the same as the large diameter part of the winding shaft other than this recessed part. Therefore,
The winding diameter when storing the belt can be reduced, and since the belt body can be wound around the winding shaft, there is less vibration of the belt body, and the width of the winding shaft can be set to the minimum, making it possible to By reducing the diameter and the width of the winding shaft, the retractor can be made smaller and lighter.
