つて、 前記ガラス基板の端面に対向せしめて設置した
光センサよりなる後続車ライトセンサと、 前記第1電極と第2電極との間に直流電圧を印
加する駆動電源回路と、 上記駆動電源回路中に介装接続されたスイツチ
と、 前記光センサよりなる後続車ライトセンサの出
力を入力され、上記の出力のレベルを予め設定さ
れた値と比較して、前記のスイツチを作動させる
判別回路とを備えたものにおいて、 自動車の側方乃至後方に存在する物体を非接触
的に検出する障害物センサが設けられており、か
つ、 前記の判別回路は、上記障害物センサの出力信
号を入力されたとき前記第1EC層および第2E
C層を消色せしめる方向に前記のスイツチを作動
させる機能を備えたものであることを特徴とする
