ング手段、調光タイミング手段及び調光コントロ
ール手段とからなり、電源投入により予熱・点灯
タイミング手段の出力に基づいて予熱用インバー
タ回路を作動させて放電ランプを予熱すると共に
、その予熱時間終了の所定時間前に点灯・調光用
インバータ回路を作動させて上記放電ランプを点
灯始動させ、調光タイミング手段の出力に基づい
て調光コントロール手段を作動開始させると共に
、予熱時間終了から所定時間経過後、調光コント
ロール手段の出力に基づいて点灯・調光用インバ
ータ回路でランプ電流を制御して放電ランプを調
光するようにしたことを特徴とする高周波点灯装
