部を密封する軸封装置を構成し、前記軸スリーブ
の円板部分が電動機の外部の液中にあり、円板部
の外径はオイルシールの外径より大きく作られ、
又円板部の一部或いは全部の表面が金属の部分で
あり、さらにオイルシール端面と軸スリーブ円板
部との間に若干の隙間を設けることにより、砂よ
け機構とすることを特徴とする水中電動機の軸封
装置。 (2) 前記軸封装置のオイルシールは、電動機ブ
ラケツトと、金属のシールカバーとにより挟み込
み固定させ、この金属カバーと軸スリーブ円板部
の間に若干の隙間を設けることにより砂よけ機構
