Abstract

PURPOSE:To average an activity ratio at every subroute and to effectively use a speech line only by selecting the subroute by constituting a system to select the subroute by using the activity ratio of the speech line in a correspond ing subroute in the case of deciding the subroute by using a subroute decision table. CONSTITUTION:In a process to perform the call processing of telephone exchange, destination(DSTN) to which an incoming destination subscriber belongs is decided by a receiving incoming telephone number, and a correspond ing route number (RTNi) is decided by the routing processing table (RTGTBL) of a corresponding destination. Furthermore, a subroute number is selected by using the subroute decision table (SRTTBL) by the RTNi, however, at this time, the activity ratios alpha, beta, and gamma of the speech lines in SRTN0, SRTN1, and SRTN2 set in the subroute decision table (SRTTBL) are found from a speech line activity ratio table (RATESRT), and the subroute with the lowest line activity ratio is selected.

In a typical storage program controlled telephone switching system, a subroute is a line group in which the lines within a rate are divided into a plurality of groups based on the signaling system between exchanges, the attributes of the call line, the switchboard, etc. For this reason, with conventional routing processing methods, calls are biased toward specific subroutes with high priority, and even if one of the exchanges in a telephone exchange where two exchanges are installed is in a state of congestion, the same The other exchange at the station is likely to be under a light load, which poses problems from the standpoint of reliability, economy, and service to subscribers.

The routing processing method of the present invention determines the destination to which the destination subscriber belongs based on the received destination telephone number in the process of call processing in the telephone exchange, and then determines the outgoing route using the routing processing table of the destination, Furthermore, in a storage program control telephone switching system that selects an outgoing subroute from among the subroutes set in the subroute determination table for the corresponding route, when determining a subroute using the subroute determination table, the call line within the corresponding subroute is This configuration uses usage rates to select subroutes.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. In the process of call processing in the telephone exchange, the destination (DSTN) to which the destination subscriber belongs is determined based on the received terminating telephone number, and RTNi is determined based on the routing processing table (RTGTBL) of the destination. Furthermore, a subroute number is selected using the subroute determination table (SRTTBL) according to the corresponding route number (RTN i ), but at this time, 5RTNO, 5 set in the subroute determination table (SRTTBL) is selected.
RTNI, 5 Call line usage rate α, β, γ within RTN2
is obtained from the speech line usage rate table (RATESRT), and the subroute with the lowest speech line usage rate is selected.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the call line usage rate for each subroute is counted and the subroute set in the subroute determination table is calculated without significantly changing the routing processing program of the conventional storage program control telephone switching system. By comparing the call line usage rates of the subroutes, it is possible to average the usage rates for each subroute by simply selecting a subroute, making effective use of the call lines, and further eliminating restrictions on the order in which subroutes are set in the subroute determination table. This has an extremely large practical effect, since the telephone exchange system can be realized economically in terms of maintenance and operation.
