Claims (1)
手管を装着して両管材を接続するようにした管継
手構造において、 上記継手管は、その内面のほぼ中央部分に管材
の外径より大きい内径を有する第１の環状嵌合溝
部を形成し、この第１の環状嵌合溝部の左右に位
置する内面には管材の外径より大きい内径を有し
、且つ開口端側には開口端に向つて縮径するテー
パー面を有する第２の環状嵌合溝部を形成し、各
第２の環状嵌合溝部に続く開口端側には内面が拡
径する端縁を形成してなり、 上記第１の環状嵌合溝部の内部に受リング材を
嵌着し、両管材の端部には断面が略三角形状であ
るストツプリング材次いで水膨張性シールリング
材を装着した後、継手管に両管材を挿入すること
によつて、受リング材を介して両管材の端部が継
合し、各第２の環状嵌合溝部には水膨張性シール
リング材及びストツプリング材が位置することと
なり、 水を吸収させることにより各水膨張性シールリ
ング材を膨張させ、第２の環状嵌合溝部の内部に
充満させることによりストツプリング材を上記し
たテーパー面に押圧し、ストツプリング材を管材
の外面に噛合させるようにして両管材を継手管に
よつて係止し接続することを特徴とする管継手構
