Claims (1)
排気ガス中の成分濃度を検出するとともに、少な
くともセンサ素子の周りを取り囲み、該センサ素
子に排気ガスを導く保護カバーを有する排気成分
検出装置を、機関の排気管に形成された取付開口
部を介して取り付ける排気成分検出装置の取付構
造において、 前記排気管の取付開口部に、筒状形状でつば部
を有する煤付着防止カバーを設け、 該煤付着防止カバーは、前記センサ素子の周り
を取り囲む保護カバーとは別体で作られるととも
に、前記取付開口部を覆つて排気ガスの流れ方向
に交又するように突出し、その側面に排気ガスの
流れの下流側に開口して排気ガスを導く開口部を
形成し、さらに、そのつば部に、シール用の溝を
形成するとともに、回り止め手段を形成し、該回
り止め手段に対抗する排気管側にも回り止め手段
を形成して位置決めし、 該煤付着防止カバーを介して排気ガスを導くよ
うに前記排気成分検出装置を排気管に取り付ける
